‘Agatha All Along’ Soars to #1 on Disney+ US with Phenomenal Surge in Viewership
“Agatha All Along” premiered nearly two weeks ago with its first two episodes. While early reactions were mixed, both audience and critic scores have since stabilized, earning the show a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Despite facing review-bombing on IMDb, the show gained strong traction, reaching 9.3 million views on Disney+ within its first seven days. While the data may not be entirely precise, it provides a solid indication of the show’s overall popularity.
According to Variety’s Luminate data, “Agatha All Along” amassed around 72.3M minutes of streaming for its first two episodes during its debut week. While these numbers fall short compared to shows like “The Acolyte” and other highly anticipated series, it’s important to note that “Agatha All Along” was never expected to draw massive global audiences due to its niche themes and targeted demographic.
The average MCU fan likely isn’t invested in Agatha, and comic book readers are even less interested in the show’s musical elements or premise, so record-breaking numbers weren’t anticipated.
However, something remarkable happened between September 20–26: not only did the show exceed its initial streaming figures, but it saw a dramatic surge in “minutes watched.” Luminate reports that “Agatha All Along” hit 304.7M minutes, marking an astounding 321% increase.
The show also climbed to the #1 spot on Disney+ in the US. These numbers paint a promising outlook, and viewership is likely to rise further as Halloween approaches, perfectly complementing the spooky vibe of the latest MCU series.
