Alkahest Teaser Trailer Drops, Confirms Console Versions

A new teaser trailer for Alkahest is out now, and it brings some exciting news — the dark fantasy RPG is not just coming to PC anymore. The game is now confirmed for PlayStation and Xbox as well. The update came from publisher HypeTrain Digital and developer Push On, who shared the trailer and details today.
Alkahest was first revealed back in June 2024, showing off a dark, medieval-inspired world. It quickly grabbed attention, even landing a spot in Steam’s Top 100 Most Wishlisted games. Now, with this new teaser, fans get another look at the game’s action and world, plus confirmation it’s expanding to consoles.
The new video shows off the game’s fast-paced first-person combat. There are different weapons, flashy combo moves, and even some neat environmental tricks to use in battle. The world also looks highly detailed and gritty, with a strong focus on atmosphere. According to the description from HypeTrain Digital, “players will battle formidable foes using a vast arsenal of weapons, chain dynamic combos, and leverage interactive environments to their advantage.”
It’s not all about fighting either. The developers say Alkahest will have deep exploration, hidden relics, and powerful alchemical abilities to master. They’ve taken inspiration from games like Dishonored, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance, blending their ideas into something new.
Another big update is the publisher. Push On is now officially working with HypeTrain Digital, the team behind games like Voidtrain and Breathedge. The dev team seems excited about the partnership. In their words, “We’re really excited to be teaming up with HypeTrain Digital on Alkahest. Their track record with original IP and unwavering support for developers align perfectly with our vision for the game.”
Right now, we don’t have a release date or full gameplay reveal, but that’s coming later this year. For now, the teaser is the first glimpse at what’s shaping up to be a dark, intense RPG with lots of style and some serious combat chops. The devs say it’s only the beginning and that more features, including alchemy systems and new areas, will be shown off soon.
If you’re interested, you can wishlist Alkahest on Steam or keep an eye on its console pages. More updates are expected in the coming months.
