Amanda Bynes is showing off a bold new tattoo after an impressive weight loss transformation.

The former Nickelodeon star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share snaps of her latest ink, which reads Trap Star in large letters on her left hand. The tattoo was done at Atomic Tattoo & Body Piercing in Los Angeles and adds to her already impressive collection, which includes a snake on her thigh, a rose on her forearm, a heart on her cheek, and Roman numerals for 10 on her finger.

The 39-year-old hasn’t explained the meaning behind her newest piece, but she has shared the stories behind other tattoos in the past.

Talking about her Roman numeral ink on TikTok, Amanda said, “My best friend Dylan and I have been best friends for 10 years. And to mark our best friend anniversary, we got matching Roman numeral X’s for the number 10. I got it on my finger. Dylan got it on her rib cage.” Her snake tattoo also has a personal significance. “It’s the ‘transformation’ for me,” she explained, adding, “Snakes represent shedding the past, and embracing who you’re becoming. A daily reminder that I can heal, grow, and start anew.”

Amanda has been on a weight loss journey since late 2024, and 2025 was a particularly transformative year. In a December Instagram post, she shared, “I usually don’t like paparazzi pictures [because] I was 180 lbs, but now I’ve lost 28 lbs on Ozempic. I’m down to 152 lbs. I know I still look big, but this photo is really inspiring to me!”

She also spoke about how switching GLP-1 medications helped her progress. “I actually shot up on the Ozempic pill, shot up to 180 from 173. So I was able to lose twenty pounds from 180, and now I’m down to 163 on the Ozempic injection,” she said on social media.

Beyond her health journey, Amanda has been busy exploring new creative avenues. She has shared clips of an EDM track she produced with friends and is working toward a manicurist license. “I returned to school to master acrylics and theory so I can eventually work at a salon,” she explained to fans.
