‘Expats’ is an American drama television series created by Lulu Wang, based on Janice Y. K. Lee’s 2016 novel ‘The Expatriates.’ The show is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 26, 2024. The series explores the lives of a close-knit expatriate community, where affluence is celebrated, friendships are intense but temporary, and personal stories unfold publicly and are then retold with enthusiasm. The main cast includes Nicole Kidman as Margaret, Ji-young Yoo as Mercy, Jack Huston as David Starr, Sarayu Blue as Hilary Starr, and Brian Tee as Clarke.
