Zendaya is well-known these days, especially with younger audiences, thanks to her roles in ‘Euphoria,’ ‘Dune,’ and the ‘Spider-Man’ movies. What’s great about her is how genuine she seems, often praised for her effortless charm.

Before becoming a huge star, Zendaya’s career was already taking off, even though Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige hadn’t heard of her at the time.

In a recent article in Vogue about Zendaya, Amy Pascal shared that neither she nor Feige recognized the young actress at first. However, she quickly impressed them, and they were convinced she had to be in the movie.

To be honest with you, neither Kevin Feige nor I knew who she was. She was wearing no makeup and she was just dressed like a regular girl, and we were like, ‘Oh my God, she’s amazing. She has to be in the movie. And then we found out she was a totally famous person, and felt really stupid.

Zendaya gained recognition with her role as Rocky Blue in ‘Shake It Up.’ She later portrayed K.C. Cooper in the Disney Channel series ‘K.C. Undercover’ from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, she starred as Halley Brandon in the Disney Channel original movie ‘Frenemies’ (2012).

However, it was her role as MJ in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2017 that propelled her to international fame. Her character’s relationship with Peter Parker evolved over subsequent films, and Zendaya is set to return in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’ Got something to share? Drop a comment below!
