An unreleased song connected to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has surfaced online and fans are paying attention.

The track, called ‘Put It In Words’, is performed by Hailee Steinfeld and was made during work on the first Spider-Verse movie back in 2018. It was never included in the final film or its official soundtrack.

According to reports shared by fans on social media and music forums, the song appeared online between December 18 and December 22. While Sony and the film’s creators have not commented, the leak quickly spread across platforms like X and Reddit, where listeners began sharing clips and reactions.

You can check out the song on YouTube.

Hailee Steinfeld voices Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Verse films, making the leak even more interesting for longtime fans. Even though this specific song was left out of the original movie, Steinfeld remained closely tied to the franchise.

She later performed vocals on songs featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, including ‘Annihilate’ and ‘Self Love’. The leaked track shows that her musical role in the series may have been planned much earlier.

The leak has also renewed praise for the music of Into the Spider-Verse. The 2018 film is often credited for using music as part of the storytelling instead of simple background noise. The soundtrack helped shape Miles Morales as a character and reflected his world through modern hip-hop mixed with score work by composer Daniel Pemberton. Artists like Post Malone, Swae Lee, Nicki Minaj, Juice WRLD, and Lil Wayne helped give the movie its strong sound identity.
