Ana de Armas Sparks Romance Rumors with Jacob Elordi at 2026 Golden Globes, Months After Tom Cruise Split

Ana de Armas was seen getting close to Jacob Elordi at the 2026 Golden Globes, just three months after ending her relationship with Tom Cruise.

RadarOnline.com reports that the two actors, who starred together in the 2022 thriller Deep Water, were holding hands and laughing while talking inside the Beverly Hilton, where the awards took place.

The 37-year-old Knives Out actress appeared happy, smiling at Elordi, 28, as he lightly touched her arm during their conversation. The Golden Globes ceremony had yet to begin, but the pair seemed relaxed among other star-studded guests.

De Armas ended her nine-month romance with Cruise in October. The couple first got together in February 2025 and were seen publicly on several occasions, including a hand-holding trip to Vermont in July.

According to RadarOnline.com, the breakup happened because de Armas felt stifled by Cruise’s controlling behavior.

An insider explained, “Ana’s friends aren’t shocked they didn’t last. She got swept up in the excitement of dating a huge movie star, but they could see from the start that the dynamic was totally off-balance. Tom was constantly micromanaging her, telling her how to handle everything from her image to her workouts to her career choices. At first, she was flattered, but eventually she felt suffocated. She asked for space and Tom took it hard. Things kind of snowballed from there.”

The insider also mentioned that Cruise had big plans for the relationship, including proposing. “He fell hard and fast for the Blade Runner 2049 actress and spoiled her with gifts and lavish trips around Europe,” the source added. While the romance is over, there are still hopes they could collaborate professionally in the future.

Elordi, meanwhile, also recently ended a relationship with Olivia Jade, daughter of Lori Loughlin. Their on-and-off romance began in 2021 and officially ended in October 2025. A source said at the time, “It’s fully over. They are not getting back together.”

Elordi previously spoke about working with de Armas and Ben Affleck on Deep Water, saying, “They are such wonderful performers and they’ve really earned their stripes. We’d sit and jive a little bit, but I mean probably just watching what they do and seeing how they do it is a lesson in itself.”
