Anya Taylor-Joy Turns Heads in Soft Pink Micro Top at Tokyo ‘Super Mario Galaxy’ Premiere
Anya Taylor-Joy turned heads once again during her appearance in Tokyo for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie photocall. Fans and photographers were buzzing as she stepped onto the carpet in a soft pink outfit that paid homage to Princess Peach, the character she voices in the upcoming film.
She wore a Jacquemus Le Palmier two-piece set, featuring a cropped tube top in a dusty rose color. The top was simple but elegant, letting the rest of her look shine. The matching midi skirt hugged her figure before flaring out at the bottom, creating a smooth hourglass shape.
The most striking part of her outfit was a wide-brimmed hat in the same blush pink suede. The hat framed her face beautifully, adding a dramatic and mysterious touch to her look. She completed the outfit with strappy pink Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and white gold diamond rings from Tiffany and Co., her usual go-to as a brand ambassador. Her long blonde hair was styled straight and sleek, and her makeup stayed soft and natural, keeping the focus on her outfit.
Super Mario Galaxy Movie is the sequel to the 2023 animated hit. It will hit theaters worldwide on April 1. The film is directed by Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath, who also worked on the first movie. Chris Pratt returns as Mario, with Charlie Day back as Luigi. New cast members include Brie Larson as Princess Rosalina, Donald Glover as Yoshi, and Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr., with Jack Black reprising his role as Bowser.
Outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, Anya has been keeping busy. She recently starred in the thriller The Gorge with Miles Teller. She will also lead Apple TV’s new crime series Lucky, set to premiere in July. In the series, she plays a reformed criminal pulled back into a final job, and the cast includes Annette Bening and Timothy Olyphant.
Anya also has the satirical film Sacrifice coming up, where she stars alongside Chris Evans. She continues to impress on both the red carpet and the screen, showing her versatility in roles from animation to drama.
Her Tokyo look once again proved her status as a fashion icon, and her fans can’t wait to see her in the Mario sequel. What do you think about Anya’s pink outfit and her upcoming projects? Share your thoughts in the comments.
