Apple TV+ Previews Big Year Ahead with New Teases for ‘Chief of War,’ ‘Foundation,’ ‘Slow Horses,’ and More

Apple TV+ has just revealed a new featurette, and it’s packed with exciting updates on some of its biggest shows. The clips spotlight everything from spy dramas to historical epics, giving viewers plenty to look forward to.
First up is Chief of War, a new historical drama starring Jason Momoa. The series explores the early 18th‑century conflicts between Hawaiian kingdoms and follows the journey of Kaʻiana, a native warrior who returns from abroad to join the fight.
Momoa not only stars but also serves as executive producer. Fans can mark their calendars: it lands on Apple TV+ on August 1, 2025.
Next, Foundation – Season 3 was teased. While details remain under wraps, we know filming picked back up in March 2024 after a pause due to strikes. Fans are eagerly awaiting this sci‑fi epic’s next installment.
Moving on, the featurette also teased Slow Horses – Season 5. Apple confirmed a September 24, 2025, release, with the first two episodes available immediately and new episodes every week through October 22
As the summary puts it, “everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but soon a string of strange events across London pulls the team back into the action.“
The list also includes Highest 2 Lowest, Spike Lee’s modern take on Kurosawa’s High and Low, starring Denzel Washington. The film premiered at Cannes on May 19, 2025, hits US theaters on August 22, and will stream on Apple TV+ starting September 5.
And there’s more. A project called The Lost Bus also made an appearance in the featurette, though Apple hasn’t released official details yet, it seems it’s among the “& more” surprises teased.
