‘Franklin’ is a biographical drama miniseries centered on the United States Founding Father Benjamin Franklin, based on Stacy Schiff’s book ‘A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America.’ Scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on April 12, 2024, the series depicts Franklin’s eight years in France, where he sought to secure support for America’s democracy. The cast includes Michael Douglas as Benjamin Franklin, Noah Jupe as William Temple Franklin, Marc Duret as Monsieur Brillon, Ludivine Sagnier as Anne Louise Brillon de Jouy, and Thibault de Montalembert as Charles Gravier, Comte de Vergennes.
