‘Arknights’ Anime Season 3, ‘Arknights [Rise from Ember]’, Confirmed!

Arknights, a popular mobile game, is getting a third anime season. The game, created by Hypergryph, mixes tactical RPG and tower defense gameplay. It first launched in China on May 1, 2019, and went global in 2020. Players can enjoy it for free on various platforms, though it includes gacha elements for unlocking characters. The anime adaptation began with Arknights [Prelude to Dawn] in 2022, followed by Arknights [Perish in Frost] in 2023. Now, the third season, called Arknights [Rise from Ember], has been announced.

The first season aired in Fall 2022, introducing fans to the game’s world through animation. The second season hit screens in Fall 2023. Both were made by Yostar Pictures, a studio owned by the game’s developers. They’re also handling the new season. Crunchyroll streamed the earlier seasons, and it’s likely they’ll bring the third one to fans too.

For the upcoming season, some details are out. Yuki Kaida will voice the Doctor, and Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Amiya. “The Doctor and Amiya are key figures in the story,” a teaser hints.
