Arnold Schwarzenegger Might Return as Dutch in Next Live-Action ‘Predator’ Movie
At the premiere of Predator: Badlands on Monday, producer Ben Rosenblatt revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger could be returning as Dutch in a future Predator film. The news comes as excitement builds for the new movie, which hits theaters on November 7.
Rosenblatt explained that Schwarzenegger has already met with director Dan Trachtenberg several times to discuss the possibility of reprising his iconic role from the original 1987 Predator.
“Obviously, the holy grail of Predator movies would be getting Arnold back in there,” he said. “And it’s always been something in the back of our minds that it would be really great to see him come back to this franchise that he’s made iconic, and that’s made him iconic.”

According to Rosenblatt, Schwarzenegger has been supportive and interested in what the team has done so far with the franchise.
“Arnold and Dan have met a couple of times now. He’s been really interested in what we’re doing, he’s a real fan of what we’ve done so far, from what I understand. And we’re really excited. After Predator: Badlands comes out, we’ll see and have more conversations. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to do something with Arnold, because that would be awesome.”
The comments come amid Predator: Badlands’ red carpet event, where Trachtenberg also spoke about the movie’s connection to the Alien franchise. While the crossover element adds to the story, Rosenblatt emphasized that the team’s main focus remains on developing the Predator universe, leaving room for potential sequels featuring familiar faces.
With Schwarzenegger in talks and the new film set to explore fresh territory, fans have plenty to look forward to. The possibility of Dutch returning on the big screen has already sparked excitement among longtime followers of the series.
