Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Shares Sweet Photo of Him with His Granddaughters
Arnold Schwarzenegger enjoyed a festive Thanksgiving with his granddaughters, a moment captured by his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt on social media. The 78-year-old actor was seen spending time with his ex-wife Maria Shriver and their two granddaughters, Eloise Christina, 3, and Lyla Maria, 5.
In the photo shared by Katherine, the girls posed in front of a large play gingerbread house decorated with a hanging Elf on the Shelf and small pine trees, while Arnold followed them from behind in a rare candid shot. Katherine captioned the post, “So much to be thankful for ♥️.”
Earlier this year, Arnold spoke about his role as a grandfather. He has three grandchildren: Eloise and Lyla, from Katherine, and her 12-month-old son, Ford. The children call him Opa, which means grandpa in German. “It’s just such a fun thing to do because it’s kind of like I [didn’t] know how good I would be [at being a grandfather] but I have the animals so it’s an easy thing,” he told PEOPLE.
Arnold’s playful and warm relationship with his grandchildren continues to delight fans, showing a softer side of the action star as he embraces family life.
