‘Atlas’ Star Jennifer Lopez (57) Goes Barely-There in a Leopard-Print Trench and Mini in Milan
Jennifer Lopez has turned Milan Fashion Week into her personal runway, and her head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana looks have made her one of the most photographed stars in the city. The singer and ‘Office Romance’ star arrived just ahead of the Spring/Summer 2027 shows and was first spotted on Monday, September 21, in an open white button-down with a black bra, high-waisted wide-leg trousers, platform heels, and a structured Dolce & Gabbana bag.
The looks only escalated from there. On the first official day of fashion week, she paired a cropped cream lace bustier with oversized distressed jeans and a dramatic Dolce & Gabbana opera coat with burgundy fur trim, floral print, and pink fringe. At Vogue World: Milano on September 22, she wore a strapless black D&G ballgown with a corset bodice, lace base, and leather flower appliqués.
Then came the look that has everyone talking. On September 23, Lopez stepped out in Milan wearing head-to-toe leopard print from Dolce & Gabbana, a moment that quickly spread online.
The centerpiece was a cropped, belted, double-breasted trench with a wide collar popped up to frame her face. Outlets described the matching bottoms differently, with W Magazine and CelebMafia calling them shorts while WWD and Reality Tea described a micro miniskirt, but the effect was the same: the short hem made the set read almost like a minidress.
She kept the print going all the way down with pointed leopard slingbacks from D&G’s Lollo line, according to WWD. A mini black patent leather Dolce & Gabbana bag, black sunglasses, gold jewelry, and a slicked-back bun finished the look, which she later shared on Instagram with nothing more than a single leopard emoji as the caption.
For Lopez, this is familiar territory. W Magazine noted that she has spent years proving leopard print is a neutral, pointing to past looks ranging from patterned tights and shoulder-padded bodycon dresses to spotted fur coats and even leopard-print face masks during the pandemic.
Her archive of animal-print moments stretches from 2001 to 2023, making this latest outfit a natural addition to the collection. At 57, she clearly isn’t slowing down when it comes to bold fashion statements.

The choice of label also carries some history. Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 1988 women’s collection, presented in 1987, was titled ‘Il Gattopardo’, or ‘The Leopard’, making the print a long-standing part of the brand’s DNA.
The outfit did draw a few critiques. Fashion bloggers Tom + Lorenzo felt the shoes were too much and noted that the print on the bottoms didn’t quite seem to match the jacket, though they conceded that Lopez is exactly the kind of star who can pull off a head-to-toe leopard look.

Most fans seemed far less concerned. The monochromatic animal print gave her a commanding presence whether she was posing on the street or lounging on a leopard-print daybed in her Instagram photos.
Lopez’s week of wardrobe wins comes courtesy of her longtime stylists, Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi. Their strategy in Milan appears simple: dress her in Dolce & Gabbana from morning to night, alternating between cheeky daytime outfits and full red carpet drama.
The “Can’t Get Enough” singer has now delivered lingerie-inspired tailoring, a floral opera coat, a gothic ballgown, and a jungle-ready trench in a matter of days. With Milan Fashion Week running through September 28, there’s still time for her to add at least one more showstopper to the list.
