‘Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game’ Gets Exciting New Gameplay Trailer
The fighting game Avatar Legends is back after previous reports said it had been canceled. A new trailer was released, showing more gameplay and announcing a Closed Alpha Test for the game.

The footage comes from Evo and was shared by Avatar’s community ambassador, Justin Wong. It includes extended fights between Aang and Korra, as well as battles with Zuko. Fans get a glimpse of how characters move through both the air and on the ground, with abilities that allow them to stay airborne longer than usual.

Korra is shown using a dodge mechanic multiple times, though it’s not yet clear if this move is unique to her or available to all characters. The game will also feature special assist characters in combat, but details on them have not been revealed.
The Closed Alpha Test will include Aang, Korra, Katara, and Zuko. While there is no confirmed date for the alpha, it is expected to happen soon. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is scheduled to release in 2026 for PC via Steam.
