‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Fast Food Frenzy Grows as a KFC Tie-in Promo Surfaces Online
Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has turned into one of the biggest fast-food events of the year. With the film opening in theaters on December 18, restaurant chains around the world are rolling out themed menus, packaging and collectibles built around Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom and his superhero rivals.
The campaign has been especially busy over the past week. Several major brands have revealed their own takes on the film, each giving fans a different way to join in before the big release.
The latest tie-in to catch fans’ attention involves KFC. Cosmic Marvel shared what it described as the first promo for a KFC and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ collaboration, and the clip quickly spread online.
The roughly 1-minute video has a cinematic look, opening on a quiet roadside restaurant with a cartoonish burger mascot sign that reads “Order Here.” A damaged structure looms in the background, hinting that something more dramatic is about to happen.
Full details of the partnership, including menu items and which countries are involved, haven’t been officially confirmed in the materials shared so far. A report from Australian food site Frugal Feeds has pointed to a KFC Australia Avengers menu called “The Allegiance,” but fans should wait for KFC to confirm the full lineup in their region.
