A new rumor is sparking excitement among Marvel fans as set leaks suggest that Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter might have children in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

The leaker, posting under the name @ShareZone5 on X, shared a rumor that he spotted a farmhouse set with swings and slides, hinting at a family life for the iconic couple. The same source also mentioned spotting bicycles suitable for toddlers on the set, fueling speculation about the next chapter in Rogers’ life.

Avengers: Doomsday is the fifth Avengers film and the 39th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a script by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, the film promises an epic ensemble.

Returning stars include Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Letitia Wright, and Paul Rudd, alongside new additions like Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Florence Pugh, and Robert Downey Jr. The story will unite the Avengers, Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, New Avengers, and X-Men against Doctor Doom, played by Downey.

Chris Evans, reprising his role as Steve Rogers, is confirmed to appear, but details of his character remain unclear. Fans are debating whether Evans will portray Rogers in retirement, live in an alternate timeline, or appear as a different version of Captain America, such as Nomad. Hayley Atwell will also return as Peggy Carter.

The rumors about Rogers’ family tie into his MCU journey after Avengers: Endgame. As seen in the previous film, Rogers traveled through time to return the Infinity Stones and chose to stay in the 1940s to live a life with Peggy Carter.

Fans now speculate that his life in the past may include children, adding a new layer to his story.

While Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed these details, the set leaks are already sparking discussion online. Fans are curious about how the potential family storyline might fit into the larger narrative, especially with the film bringing together multiple superhero teams.

This plot point could add an emotional dimension to Avengers: Doomsday, giving Steve Rogers’ character a personal stake beyond the epic battles. It also opens questions about how the next phase of the MCU will address timelines and legacy characters.
