‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Screenx Trailer Sneaks in a Kate Bishop Clue, a Red Sky, and Kneeling Witches
Marvel fans have turned trailer-watching into a competitive sport, and the Russo brothers’ return to the franchise has only made it more intense. The film is part of Phase 6 of the MCU, and its plot is so closely guarded that every frame gets picked apart. The latest ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ ScreenX trailer just handed the community fresh material to dissect.
ScreenX shared the wider trailer on September 28 as tickets went on sale. The format projects footage across 3 walls and expands the view to 270 degrees, which means the edges of each shot show what a standard theater frame keeps hidden.
That extra real estate is exactly why fans immediately started freeze-framing. The fan account Mcu Master on X rounded up 3 standout details from the footage: Kate Bishop’s apartment, the red sky of the incursion, and 2 witches on their knees. Each one adds a small but loaded piece to the ‘Doomsday’ puzzle.
The first is the one generating the loudest buzz. In the expanded frame of a scene where Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang embraces Kathryn Newton’s Cassie Lang, the pair are standing inside what appears to be Kate Bishop’s apartment. ComicBook.com first identified the location as Kate’s home.
Hailee Steinfeld isn’t visible in the shot, and Marvel hasn’t confirmed her return. Still, the setting strongly suggests the Young Avenger has a role in Marvel’s next crossover, and it would reconnect a thread left dangling since ‘Hawkeye’.

The clue also lines up with earlier chatter. Reports had claimed that Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang would appear in small roles, with some characters sharing a single apartment scene. Back in February, Nerd Tower added that a scene was filmed in Kate’s apartment and that Kamala Khan was the only one in uniform.
That detail carries extra weight because of where Kate was last seen. In the post-credits scene of ‘The Marvels’, Kate was in her apartment when Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) showed up to recruit her for a new team. A location callback like this wouldn’t confirm a Young Avengers project, but it certainly keeps the door open.

The second reveal is more ominous. The wider frame shows the sky turning red from the incursion during the battle between Thor and Doom at the X-Mansion. It’s a small visual flourish, but it says a lot about the stakes. The crimson horizon suggests reality itself is starting to fray while the heroes fight, and that adds a distinctly apocalyptic layer to a sequence that already looked massive.
The third detail may be the most intriguing for comic-savvy viewers. As the camera zooms in on Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, the Latverian Witches can be seen bowing to the villain’s right. There appear to be even more of them than fans realized, with at least 2 more visible behind him. They also aren’t wearing the masks shown at San Diego Comic-Con. Instead, they wear golden variations of the mask seen on a leaked figure.

Theories are already piling up. One suggests the 3 witches are Scarlet Witch, Peggy Carter, and Clea, while a reported plot leak claims one witch is a shape-shifter who takes Peggy Carter’s form to fool Steve Rogers. As with everything surrounding this film, treat that one with caution until Marvel says otherwise.
Marvel has announced an extensive cast that includes Avengers, Fantastic Four, and returning X-Men actors, alongside Downey Jr. In a film that crowded, background details become the clearest signals of who might be involved.
For now, the ScreenX footage offers hints rather than answers. Between a possible Kate Bishop return, a sky bleeding red, and a growing coven of witches, fans have plenty to chew on until the film arrives.
