‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Toy Reveals Give Fans Their Best Look Yet at the X-Men’s Comic Con Debut

San Diego Comic Con 2026 delivered plenty of surprises for Marvel fans, but some of the most talked about reveals did not come from the footage shown inside Hall H. The convention saw Robert Downey Jr. and other MCU stars present a new trailer focusing on Doctor Doom, with only brief glimpses of Ian McKellen’s Magneto and Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. For a franchise this secretive, even a few seconds of new footage was enough to send the internet into a frenzy.

Since the panel wrapped, collectors and reporters alike have been piecing together the look of ‘Avengers Doomsday’ through an unexpected source, its merchandise line. Fans gathered at the Sideshow booth for the first look at the upcoming collectibles, with the debut accompanied by a reveal video showcasing the new line of X-Men and villain figures.

That is exactly the news ComicBook.com highlighted in a recent post, noting that Sideshow and Hot Toys had revealed new looks at key ‘Doomsday’ characters, including the Sentinel design along with the costumes for Beast, Magneto, and Professor X. The reveals confirm what fans had only glimpsed in trailer flashes, giving a much clearer picture of how these X-Men icons will actually appear on screen.

Sideshow Collectibles released official Hot Toys photos of the 12-inch Magneto figure, showcasing his complete X-Men uniform and helmet, alongside figures for Doctor Doom, Gambit, and Cyclops. The figure features a newly developed helmeted head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, along with a tailored long-sleeved tunic, matching pants, tall boots, and a belt accented by an X-logo buckle, all finished off with a gray cape featuring a burgundy interior lining.

Collector and Deluxe versions of the figure are priced at $285 and $390 respectively, with the Deluxe edition including a battle-damaged Sentinel-themed diorama base featuring a USB-powered LED light-up function. That Sentinel tie-in lines up directly with what fans spotted in the ComicBook.com post, where the Sentinel design was called out as one of the standout reveals of the day.

Beast and Professor X were also part of the showcase, though their rollout has moved a bit slower than Magneto’s. Sideshow confirmed that figures based on Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Kelsey Grammer’s Beast are in the works, though they have not been fully revealed and could only be glimpsed in the reveal video. Fans hoping to bring both characters home will need to sign up for updates for now, since Professor X, Beast, and the Sentinel were not yet available for pre-order alongside Doctor Doom, Magneto, Cyclops, and Gambit.

The broader lineup paints a picture of just how stacked this ‘X-Men’ side of the film is shaping up to be. The full Hot Toys and Sideshow collection includes Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Beast, Gambit, and a Sentinel figure, each rendered with the same painstaking detail as the Doctor Doom figure that anchored the panel’s merchandise reveal.

Do you think the toys will be movie-accurate?

With ‘Avengers Doomsday’ still keeping its actual footage largely under wraps, these figures have become an unofficial preview for fans desperate for any new details. Which of these new X-Men looks has you the most hyped for the film, Magneto’s redesigned helmet, Beast’s costume, or that ominous Sentinel silhouette?
