Marvel’s global campaign for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ keeps finding new ways to reach fans, and South Korea has been one of its busiest stops. The country has hosted runs, drone shows and themed photo zones in the lead-up to the film. According to Walt Disney Company Korea, the country is celebrating the release with a series of events, from Marvel superhero-themed runs to drone shows.

The biggest of those was a race. Marvel Run Korea 2026 took place on Oct. 31 at Inje Speedium, offering 10K, 5K, and family races themed around ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, Doctor Doom, Thor, and Captain America. The tracks were decorated with details inspired by the film, and runners could listen to soundtracks from the franchise played by a live DJ.

Now a new promo from the event is circulating online. MCU Film News shared a short clip branded with the ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Korean title and the Marvel Run 2026 Korea logo, showing a metallic, hexagon-shaped design that joins the yellow Avengers “A,” the blue Fantastic Four “4,” and the red X-Men “X.” Each section has its team’s name and “2026 RUN” engraved around the edges.

The design reflects the movie’s biggest selling point. The film is the first from Disney-owned Marvel to unite the Avengers and the X-Men, and Marvel’s First Family is part of the mix too. Putting those 3 logos into one emblem shows how heavily Marvel is promoting the crossover.

It also matches another recent image. A separate image showed the Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men logos crashing together, which fans connected to the incursions expected to drive the film’s multiverse story. Joe Russo has been quoted calling the concept the most profound thing to happen in the MCU.

Runners who finished went home with themed medals. The 10-kilometer medal features Doctor Doom, the 5-kilometer medal is modeled after Thor’s Mjolnir, and the 2.3-kilometer medal is inspired by Captain America’s shield, according to Walt Disney Company Korea. The first 1,000 participants in the race’s social media campaign also received a free keychain.

The celebration continued in Seoul that night. 2,000 drones flew Iron Man and other Marvel heroes over the Han River for about 15 minutes. DiscussingFilm shared footage of a transition from Iron Man to Doctor Doom, and the clip spread quickly online.

The event had a few more surprises. Footage from the show featured Black Widow in a mid-leap pose, rendered in red and purple-blue lights above the Seoul skyline. The park also hosted a photo zone themed around ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, with a large display inspired by Doctor Doom’s throne and stained-glass imagery.

Korean fans will see the film a little early. Korean reports say ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ opens in Korean theaters on December 16, 2 days before its December 18 U.S. release. The cast is also coming to promote it, as Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, will visit Korea on December 7.

Expectations are high in Korea and elsewhere. According to Variety, as reported by Korean outlets, the latest trailer passed 503 million views within 24 hours, the highest for any Disney trailer on its first day, beating the 365 million views of the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ trailer.

First-day North American presales were also reported at $16.5 million. With Doom’s arrival close, the Marvel Run promo shows how Marvel is pitching the film: 3 major teams sharing the screen for the first time.
