The new movie follows Kara and her dog as they travel through space. James Gunn also shared an image of Krypto as a puppy, confirming that the film will include scenes from earlier moments in the characters’ lives. The teaser gives fans a short look at the younger version of the dog. In the clip, Kara meets the small pup and asks, “Who are you?”
The film is set to arrive in theaters on June 26, and early buzz suggests it could be one of the biggest releases of the year. The cast includes Matthias Schoenaerts as the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and Jason Momoa as the bounty hunter Lobo. David Corenswet is also expected to appear again as Superman.
