‘Ballerina’ Star Ana de Armas Revives an Archival Louis Vuitton Sequin Mini in Dazzling New Photos
Ana de Armas has spent the past couple of weeks reminding everyone why she’s one of fashion’s favorite muses. The Louis Vuitton house ambassador, known for ‘Knives Out’, ‘Blade Runner 2049’, ‘No Time to Die’, ‘Blonde’ and ‘Ballerina’, has been in Paris serving one striking look after another.
Black has become something of a signature for her during these Paris appearances. Before arriving in the French capital, she had just broken a stretch of Instagram silence with photos and videos from a sunny getaway in Greece, and she quickly shifted into full evening glamour once Paris Fashion Week was underway.
Now, fresh photos of de Armas in one of those Paris looks are making the rounds online. The images show the actress posing beside a mirror in a black sequined Louis Vuitton mini dress with long sleeves, a high rounded collar and subtly structured shoulders.
The piece is a true archival gem. De Armas wore the dress, pulled from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway collection for the house, to the prestigious Légion d’Honneur ceremony in Paris.

The look was put together by her longtime stylist Samantha McMillen. Hairstylist Owen Gould gave her brunette hair soft, voluminous waves with a center part, which frame her face beautifully in the close-up shot.

Her makeup stayed luminous and natural, with a soft nude lip. She also skipped heavy necklaces and bracelets, keeping all the attention on the shimmering dress. By reviving a classic runway look, de Armas bridged two fashion eras with ease. It’s a reminder of how well she can wear dramatic archival pieces while still making them feel modern.
The sequin mini was just one chapter of a busy week. On Monday night, de Armas attended a private Louis Vuitton dinner alongside Emma Stone, Chloë Grace Moretz, Sophie Thatcher, the Haim sisters and Jaden Smith, wearing a sparkling beige sequined top with a black leather mini skirt.
The next day, she turned heads at the Louis Vuitton Women’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in a sharply tailored black leather blazer dress. The look featured padded shoulders, red piping, a rose-shaped button, and laced side cutouts with silver D-ring buckles, paired with Louis Vuitton Donna High Boots and a burgundy Multipass Mini bag.
She also stepped out for a night on the town with boyfriend Beto Montenegro, wearing a plunging crystal-trimmed Area mini dress from the label’s Fall 2019 collection. She paired it with embellished Aquazzura sandals and a crystal-encrusted Louis Vuitton clutch.
The fashion moments come during a busy stretch for de Armas professionally too. She has several projects ahead, including ‘Bananas’ with Oscar Isaac, ‘Deeper’ opposite Tom Cruise, and ‘Impunity’ with Sebastian Stan.
Between her new films and her ongoing role as a Louis Vuitton favorite, she shows no signs of slowing down. If her Paris wardrobe is any indication, fans can expect plenty more show-stopping looks in the months ahead.
