Bandai Namco Officially Unveiled Dragon Ball: The Breakers

A new video game set in the legendary Dragon Ball franchise is officially on the way, the publisher Bandai Namco confirmed it on their official Twitter account by unveiling the official trailer that highlights the famous Dragon Ball Z villain Cell.

Bandai Namco’s US subordinary announced that the game will be released next year for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, with a closed beta test for PC coming soon.

Dragon Ball is a legendary media franchise created by Akira Toriyama back in 1984. The original manga was published between 1984 and 1995. Based on the manga, a widely popular anime series was created. Dragon Ball also issued both animated and live-action movies, trading card games, action figures, and numerous video games, and all kinds of other merchandise that made Dragon Ball one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time, grossing over 27.7 billion dollars.

It’s almost impossible to count how many Dragon Ball video games were released untill this day. The first game ever Dragon Ball: Dragon Daihikyō was released back in 1986, and currently the latest installment Dragon Ball Z Kakarot which arrived last year. There’s no video game platform where you couldn’t find a Dragon Ball to play on.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is described as a survival game that can feature eight players playing the 7-vs-1 multiplayer in which players need to survive the match, obviously.
