‘Below’ Star Josh Hartnett (48) and Tamsin Egerton (37) Make It a Stylish Date Night at the Clooneys’ Albies in London
Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton have long been one of Hollywood’s most private couples. The pair began their relationship in 2012, quietly married in November 2021, and now live in the UK with their 4 children on what Hartnett has described as a tiny farm filled with animals.
Lately, though, the couple has been stepping out far more often. Egerton joined her husband at the New York premiere of ‘Verity’ on September 29, where the pair cuddled for photographers, and earlier this year they enjoyed a rare night out at the Jacquemus show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
Their latest outing came on October 9, when Hartnett and Egerton attended the 2026 Albies at London’s Natural History Museum. The annual ceremony, hosted by the Clooney Foundation for Justice, honors human rights advocates and justice defenders from around the world.
The couple coordinated in sleek all-black looks for the occasion. Hartnett wore a classic black suit with a crisp white shirt and black tie, while Egerton stunned in a black long-sleeved, high-neck gown with a dramatic thigh-high slit, finished with sheer tights, pointed black heels, and a silver clutch.

Egerton’s platinum blonde hair and bold silhouette made the look a standout on the carpet. Together, the pair struck a polished yet understated note that fit the evening’s serious purpose.
The Hartnetts were far from the only famous faces in attendance. Emily Ratajkowski, Felicity Jones, Laura Dern, Isla Fisher, Anna Wintour and Poppy Delevingne were all spotted at the event.
The hosts, of course, stole plenty of attention themselves. Amal Clooney arrived in a gold sequined Gucci column gown with a fringed, tassel-style skirt, while George Clooney wore a classic Gucci tuxedo.

That wasn’t a coincidence. Gucci served as the event’s Sentinel Sponsor and exclusive fashion partner, alongside sponsors Charlotte Tilbury and Microsoft. Established in 2022 by George and Amal Clooney, the Albies are now in their fifth year.
The awards are named after Justice Albie Sachs, a hero of the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa who survived imprisonment, exile, and an assassination attempt. This year’s honorees include Kyrgyz journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek Kyzy, Malawian girls’ rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, and American photojournalist Lynsey Addario.
Congolese organization Justice Plus and Microsoft vice chair and president Brad Smith were also recognized. The ceremony aims to shine a protective spotlight on people who pursue justice at great personal risk. It’s a cause that has drawn some of the biggest names in entertainment, fashion and media year after year.

The Albies appearance caps off a whirlwind few weeks for Hartnett. He stars as Jeremy Crawford in ‘Verity’ alongside Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson, and he also attended the film’s UK gala screening at the Curzon Mayfair on September 24.
His recent run of projects, including ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Trap’ and guest appearances on ‘The Bear’, has fueled a major career resurgence. Through it all, Hartnett has credited Egerton with keeping home life steady while acting takes him away from the family.
For a couple that once rarely appeared together in public, their growing list of joint outings has delighted fans. Their latest appearance proves they can still turn heads while supporting a meaningful cause.
