Hitagi has a sharp tongue and can be direct, keeping a straight face when talking to others. This trait of hers makes interaction a difficult, if not impossible, task, something that Araragi discovers firsthand. Despite this, she is sincere in everything she says. She calls herself Tsundere and she probably has an idea about otaku culture, as she once mentioned that Meme’s name was “moe”.
Koyomi is a laid-back person, she usually keeps situations under control. He is also sociable, he can hold a conversation with anyone, however, this sociable ability changed after a school debate that resulted in a break in his personality, holding the motto ‘having friends makes you weak as a human being’. It is made clear through conversations that he is very knowledgeable about anime, a fact that was even noted by Nadeko Sengoku once.
Other characters, Mayoi Hachikuji and Hitagi Senjougahara especially, seem to speculate that Koyomi is a lolicon. He is very noble, which is why Hitagi is attracted to him. He is willing to help others at the cost of his own life. As such, the female characters he has helped are very close to him.
22. Tohru Honda and Kyo Sohma

Tohru met Kyo in chapter 2 of the manga and episode 2 of the anime. At first, Kyo is slightly cold toward her, and manages to hurt her during their first meeting but her relationship grows warmer as the chapters pass. During summer vacation, they become even closer friends as they spend time alone while the other Sohmas are invited to Akito’s vacation home.
He ends up falling in love with her, but he doesn’t admit it, she loves him too but Akito realizes that Tohru has the potential to break the curse so she (he, in the anime) hurts her several times and tells him no. get more involved with Kyo and Sohma affairs. 21. Utena Tenjou and Anthy Himemiya

Utena is a school girl with who Anthy develops a close friendship and flourishes after being rescued from her abusive “master” Kyouichi Saionji. During the anime, Utena becomes Anthy’s girlfriend. She longs to become Anthy’s prince and later sacrifices herself so Anthy can be freed from her curse as the Rose Bride.
As Anthy grows closer to Utena, Anthy becomes more outgoing, and she even befriends some of Utena’s friends. Her relationship with Utena gives her the power to leave the Ohtori Academy at the end of the anime, as she wants to find Utena. However, it is never revealed if they are reunited.
20. Takeo Gouda & Rinko Yamato

Yamato is his girlfriend with who he is in love and appreciates very much. He immediately liked her upon seeing her, but believed she had feelings for Suna (due to misunderstandings and his past experience of his love crush on Suna). He wanted the two people he cared about the most to be happy and told then Yamato that he was a great guy, only to make Yamato cry. After Suna helped clear the misunderstanding up and played matchmaker for the two, they have been a couple ever since.
Although they don’t understand romantic situations and aren’t always on the same page as Yamato (who wants to make her heart flutter and win her heart while Takeo is just happy to hang out with her), the two are happy. Their similar personalities and her mutual love allow the two to be happy together. In the last chapter, Takeo proposed to her, and Rinko accepted.
19. Azumi and Akane

Before Kotarō started dating Akane, he was very shy and nervous whenever they were around or saw each other. When they are finally a couple, they both start acting like a cute couple. Kotarō was the first to “take the plunge” when it came to holding hands and kissing. He becomes jealous and worried when Akane hangs out alone with Hira, knowing that Hira has a crush on Akane. Akane and Kotarō’s relationship begins to deepen even further when Kotarō decides to attend Akane’s high school.
18. Shinohara Akari and Takaki Tōno

At the elementary school graduation, Takaki Tōno and his friend Akari Shinohara have to part ways. Akari moves to Tochigi due to her parents’ jobs, while Takaki will go to a high school in Tokyo. The two decide to keep in touch through letters, but despite the feelings that existed between them, the only thing that persisted was time.
When Takaki finds out that her family is moving to Kagoshima, he decides to go see Akari, since it will be very difficult for him to continue seeing her after she moves. However, when the day arrives, an intense snowstorm delays Takaki’s trip for several hours, which plunges him into discouragement and despair, especially when the letter he wrote to Akari is blown away; in that letter, he declared all his love for her.
Finally, as the train pulls up to the station where they were to meet, he is shocked to realize that despite how late it is, Akari has been waiting for him. After a brief reunion, they both leave the station and walk into the night through a field full of snow, at which point they stop and she realizes that the falling cherry petals were very similar to snow.
At that moment they kiss, and with it, they realize that their relationship will never work. After spending the night in a small warehouse they decide to go to the train station to say goodbye, Takaki tries to cheer up his friend Akari by telling her that they will write letters and talk on the phone, but as the train doors close and he walks away from the station, he understands that this will not be possible and that his destiny was to take different paths.
17. Haruhi Suzumiya and Kyon
Franchise: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Kyon happens to talk to Haruhi Suzumiya and is inexplicably able to hold a conversation with her, which is why this becomes a habit. In one of the talks, he gave her the idea of founding his own club, the SOS Brigade. Although Kyon considers Haruhi to be a reckless, capricious, and sometimes annoying girl, he knows that she has no bad intentions and believes that it would be very nice if she learned to calm down and help others instead of demanding things.

After exchanging a few replies, Ritsuka noticed Mafuyu’s broken guitar and then asked Mafuyu to get it repaired. Learning that this might be the case, Mafuyu had Ritsuka fix the strings before asking him to teach him the guitar. He admires and joins Ritsuka in a group with Akihiko and Haruki. Ritsuka is Mafuyu’s new friend. He is shown to care deeply for Mafuyu and embraced Mafuyu for his efforts after a live performance.
15. Izumi Miyamura and Kyoko Hori

Hori is Miyamura’s greatest love interest. Miyamura considers Hori a very good friend, and she values him in return. According to Iori Miyamura (Miyamura’s mother), she has been one of his only girlfriends since elementary school. As the story progresses, he develops emotions for her. When Hori is sick and lying on his bed trying to sleep, he says, “I like you,” despite knowing that Hori is actually awake and listening.
He loves Hori’s company, and when Kyousuke Hori (Hori’s father) asked him to cut his hair, he didn’t hesitate before being stopped by him. She is the first girlfriend Miyamura has had since starting high school. Hori first met Miyamura in his Away Style when he brought Souta Hori home after falling from a scary dog, but they also met at the start of their first year when Miyamura was dating Kouichi Shindu.
At first, Hori didn’t realize he was Miyamura, a classmate, but he unexpectedly called Hori’s name when she invited him to her house. Hori was surprised that he knew his name and when he said it was Miyamura. They became friends, and Hori was friendly and open with him despite his appearance. He frequently visits Hori and Souta at their home, where he brings home cakes from his family bakery. Hori was the first person from her high school to see Miyamura in this state, and he was the first one to see Hori in the “housewife” guise.
They wanted their “secret” appearance kept secret, and only the other would know what their alter ego looked like. They discover that they love each other as the story progresses, and Hori becomes Miyamura’s girlfriend. In chapter 37, on a rainy night, while they are alone in their room, she realizes how much she loves Miyamura, and they decide to sleep together that night.
After Hori realizes that they might be apart after this last year of high school, she tells him that she still wants to be with him. Miyamura, in turn, asks Hori to marry him. From now on, they are engaged in the manga. Later in the ending of the webcomic, it is revealed that they both got married (making it now Kyouko Miyamura), and they both have a son named Kyouhei Miyamura.
14. Guts and Casca

Casca had his first run-in with Guts at Griffith’s request after seeing how he had defeated several mercenaries from the Band of the Hawk. Her animosity towards Guts grew as she was forced to sleep with him to keep him warm and envious of how she was favored by Griffith. She for a long time gets into fights with the newcomer Guts, as happened when he unceremoniously launched himself against the Knights of the Iron Sheep. Her attitude begins to change after being saved from Guts twice before the Knights of the Blue Whale and recounting her past.
13. InuYasha and Kagome
Franchise: InuYasha
As Inuyasha slept pinned to a tree, Kagome released his spell from it. They are in the middle of a fight with Lady Centipede, who was trying to steal the Shikon no Tama that was inside Kagome’s body. A little later it turns out that Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyō. However, she claims the opposite. After attacking the jewel again, Kagome is left with no choice but to shoot the bird yōkai that stole it.
The bird is destroyed, but the jewel is shattered. So Kagome and Inuyasha set out to retrieve the shards of the jewel. Although they always fight, they soon realize that they have fallen in love with each other. In the end, Inuyasha and Kagome get married. The wedding wasn’t shown, only Sōta, Kagome’s little brother, mentioned it in the last episode or in chapter 558 of the manga.
12. Kurisu Makise and Rintaro Okabe

Kurisu is shown as a serious, mature, analytical, and strong-willed young woman, although she has shown shyness on some occasions. It is believed that her cold, arrogant and serious personality is a shield to hide her true innocent, shy, kind and curious personality, which is why she has been described as a tsundere by Okabe and Hashida, a description that seems to bother or embarrass her.
She is an extremely talented girl and has great knowledge about science, which has allowed her to go to the best laboratories in the United States. However, there they treated her coldly and did not trust her abilities due to her youth. This led him to develop a biting and sarcastic attitude.

Murmur, Deus’ assistant arrives and explains to Yukiteru how and why the First World Yuno returned after becoming Deus.
Having decided in the first world on a joint suicide with Yukiteru, she had not swallowed the poison in order to be able to resuscitate him by becoming Deus; seeing that she couldn’t, she went back in time to spend time with him again, with Murmur’s assistance.
They find themselves on a floating sphere in the air created by Murmur and Yukiteru falls into the void; just as Murmur is about to declare Yuno the winner of the game, Ninth who was saved by Deus himself to counterbalance Murmur’s schemes and Yuno arrives and saves Yukiteru thanks to Deus’ powers, part of which was transmitted to him. Yuno and Murmur return to the past two years before the start of the game thus forming the third world, followed by Ninth and Yukiteru.
As Ninth is incapacitated by Murmur, freed from the seal that restricted her powers by Yuno, Yukiteru is sealed in a fictional reality where all her dreams are fulfilled, and reunites with her parents. Yuno talks with her alter ego from the third world, trying to convince herself that her future will make her unhappy and that she must kill her; the moment she resolves to do so, the Yuno’s parents from the third world step in to protect her, thanks to the fluctuations that the people of the second world have caused by breaking into the third.
Yukki eventually realizes that something is wrong with her ideal virtual world; he breaks his prison just as Yuno is about to kill the third world one with his parents, and arrests him. Everyone’s future changes and Yuno stabs herself, making Yukiteru the Deus of the second world.
The latter then becomes the depressive god of an empty world with the Murmur of the second world who had been imprisoned by that of the first world. Ten thousand years later, he hasn’t created anything and continually thinks of Yuno, thinking that a world without her is pointless.
10. Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha

Naruto and Sasuke were rivals and friends. They did not actually kiss, but due to necessity or accident, the two of them shared some fun and intimate moments, one of which is shown in the video above. 9. Mei Tachibana and Yamato Kurosawa

Although she swore never to call him, Mei eventually called Yamato out of desperation while being followed by a man one evening after work. Yamato calmly solved the problem and became Mei’s first kiss.
He became Mei’s first boyfriend and eventually her boyfriend. In the anime and manga, Yamato and Mei continue to grow as individuals and as a couple. Yamato also introduced Mei to most of her current friends. Later in the show, Mei’s feelings grow more and more as she and Yamato experience the relationship together. Mei soon realizes her feelings for Yamato.
In chapter 39, the two are in a sexual relationship. It started on Mei’s birthday after the party. In Volume 11, Chapter 72, Yamato and Mei finally get married (making her now Mei Kurosawa), and she gives birth to a son named Ken Kurosawa.
8. Yuzu and Mei

Yuzu is Mei’s new stepsister, she is one month older than her. At first, Mei sees Yuzu as just a nuisance and wants to send her away from her; however, she begins to be attracted to Yuzu’s cheeky personality.
In the later chapters, Mei seems to reciprocate Yuzu’s romantic feelings to some degree, becoming somewhat possessive of her due to Matsuri’s advances with Yuzu, and feels guilty when she thinks Zuzu is worried or sad about Matsuri’s actions.
She expresses to Matsuri that she is thankful for meeting Yuzu. However, she rejects Zuzu when she wants to confess, as Zuzu didn’t infer her feelings clearly enough for Mei to understand. The two are currently dating.
7. Asuka Langley Soryu and Shinji Ikari
Franchise: Neon Genesis Evangelion
It seems Asuka hates Shinji. Rather, Shinji himself ignores Asuka. But since they live together, the two must get along in a sense. Shinji also makes bento for him and Asuka for school almost every morning. They also have to act professionally on missions, which often works on Shinji’s side, but not so much on Asuka’s. She acts up a lot, so she always thinks she’s the better one.
Her hatred of Shinji and her self-pity are growing because she fails in many missions and Shinji either has to help her or even wins the whole mission. However, Shinji seems to hate her as well, as she is often strangled by him as a diagram, but he may also like her as she is the only survivor with Shinji after the Third Impact in End of Evangelion. Asuka’s nickname for him is Shinji jerk.
In a movie, Asuka’s hatred of him has become so great that from then on she only calls him Shinji tormentor and she has to vent her pent-up anger towards him on a bulletproof glass pane in front of Shinji and this one subsequently tears.
6. Zen Wistaria and Shirayuki

Zen is the second prince of the kingdom of Clarines, something that Shirayuki does not know until he reveals himself after an altercation with Prince Raj. He is a boy in love with his country, who is not satisfied being inside the castle and that is why he usually escapes from time to time to visit towns and forests, that is how he met Shirayuki.
As a prince, he has two assistants who are as close as friends, Mitsuhide and Kiki, who do not let go of him no matter where he escapes to but make sure that he fulfills his “office” duties. Zen quickly developed an affinity with Shirayuki and invited her to settle down at Clarines, which she accepts. They become good friends, so she continually visits him at the castle.
The relationship between them is so constructive that they inspire each other to work harder and thus achieve their goals. Shirayuki, in order to be an ally to Zen, applies to work as a pharmacist within the castle and manages to pass, managing to enter the castle with her own ID and without Zen’s “power”. It doesn’t take long for her feelings to transform from friendship to love. Zen quickly catches on, but Shirayuki takes a bit longer.
5. Yuuri Katsuki and Victor Nikiforov

Victor began to take an interest in Yuuri’s abilities after seeing Yuuri perform “Stay Close to Me”. After that, he decided to be her trainer and went in search of the Japanese. Having their first meeting at the hot springs run by the Katsuki family. Yuuri grows close to Victor to the point where his actions will have consequences for Victor.
He is also scared that Victor will leave him, begging Victor to always stay by his side. Yuuri also spontaneously changes the final jump of the free skate from him being Victor’s signature jump in an attempt to surprise Victor, which he succeeded in doing. In response, when the short program is over, Victor lunges at Yuuri, hugging him and giving him a kiss which makes them both fall to the ice, saying that it was the only way he could surprise Yuuri even more than he surprised him.
In Barcelona, before the Grand Prix Final, Yuuri gives Victor a gold ring as a birthday/Christmas present for the Russian. Victor also places a gold ring on Yuuri’s finger, and later confirms that the couple’s rings are engagement rings, stating that they would marry when Yuuri won gold at the GPF. Victor’s first personal encounter with Yuuri was during the previous year’s GPF, where they had danced together.
Yuuri had also begged Victor to come to the family hot springs and be Yuuri’s trainer. Yuuri, having been drunk at the time, has no memory of this first meeting. After the Barcelona Grand Prix Final, Yuuri moves to Saint Petersburg, Russia to be with Victor.
4. Kirigaya Kazuki and Asuna Yuuki

Kirito and Asuna first meet when a group of players set out to kill the first boss. Since neither of them has a group, they join forces. At the beginning of the fight, the two only care about the small opponents. Kirito and Asuna often argue at first, as they usually have two opposing opinions, e.g. when it comes to sacrificing NPCs.
Nevertheless, both are open to the arguments of the other. Kirito convinces Asuna that she can enjoy life in SAO too. She then invites him to dinner. The two only now decide to become friends. From now on, the two meet more often. Asuna convinces Kirito that he needs to regroup with her forever. The two have been fighting together ever since.
Kirito had to join the Knights of the Blood Oath guild of which Asuna is the vice-commander. While training with other members, Kirito was severely injured as Kuradeel was revealed to be a spy from the PK (Player Kill) Guild Laughing Coffin. When Kirito almost died, Asuna came and saved him. Kirito confesses to Asuna that he wants to be with her forever and spend the night with her. Asuna agrees.
After a night together, Kirito wakes Asuna up and she tells her about a dream, whereupon Kirito proposes to her. Asuna agrees. The two get married and move into a house on level 22. Asuna and Kirito are married in-game as of 10/24/2024. Marriage is an in-game feature that, among other things, divides the item store. They also have a strong love relationship.
3. Takumi Usui and Misaki Ayuzawa
Franchise: Maid-sama!
Just as she has already hidden from everyone around her and even herself that she loves Takumi but not the way he loves her, and is therefore always prone to arguing and scolding Takumi. She also tries to hide her friendship from him as she believes that she will lose her authority over the boys at school if they find out.
In the anime’s final episode, Takumi and Misaki both undergo a love test at the Yumesaki High School Festival, during which they easily overcome all obstacles. Afterward, Misaki and Takumi both go to the fireworks display in Romeo and Juliet costumes, confess their feelings, and kiss for the first time.
Misaki and Takumi continue their usual back and forth throughout the series, but a few moments stand out. Like Misaki’s birthday, where she and Takumi have a day of fun and games. And on Christmas, when Misaki tells Takumi for the first time that she really loves him, and they officially start dating. Later in the series, Takumi has to transfer to Miyabigaoka and even go to England to fulfill his duty as Duke Walker’s heir, but that doesn’t weaken his bond with Misaki.
In the chapters before the last, Takumi gives Misaki a ring, it doesn’t exactly say it’s an engagement ring, but it’s implied that they are really cute together. Eventually, they get married, 10 years after Takumi and Misaki’s graduation. At this point, Takumi is a famous doctor in England working for the Walker family, and Misaki is a world-famous diplomat.
After their wedding, they flee home for their honeymoon and reunite with their friends. On a beach not far from their hometown, they talk about having children and how they would raise a family. Misaki gives birth to two children who have the same attitudes as both of their parents, and that’s where the manga ends.
2. Taiga Aisaka and Ryuuji Takasu

Both characters were known to students for their quirks – Ryuuji for his face and Taiga for his demeanor. They first meet in a hallway at school. Taiga responds by knocking Ryuuji down with a punch and walks away. After a misunderstanding later that day, when Taiga smuggles a heartfelt love letter into the wrong pocket, she and Ryuuji discover their crush.
In an attempt to get Taiga to get back home, Ryuuji promises to “do everything” to bring Taiga closer to his crush, sparking a one-sided association with Taiga treating Ryuuji like a slave and calling him a dog. Eventually, his entire class suspects Ryuuji and Taiga are dating, including his crushes, Minori Kushieda and Yusaku Kitamura.
Taiga decides to dispel these rumors by confessing to Yusaku on occasion. When this fails, Ryuuji begins calling Taiga by her first name to continue helping her. Taiga’s reaction to Ami Kawashima’s contact with Ryuuji as the two were walking home, which resulted in her throwing a trash can at Ami, is the first sign that she is falling in love with Ryuuji. This becomes more evident during the swim race with Ami – during the race, Ryuuji had come to Taiga’s rescue after suffering a calf cramp while swimming.
After she lets them continue swimming, several boys are pushed into the pool and fall on Ryuuji, causing him to drown. Still, Taiga saves him, berating the others for not paying attention and shouting that Ryuuji is hers, though she clarifies it later. Friend that Ryuuji is his dog. While at Ami’s beach house, Taiga Ryuuji confesses that her dream of marrying her wasn’t as bad as it seemed.
1. Naruto Uzumai and Hinata Hyūga
Franchise: Naruto
Naruto wakes up to see Sakura severely weakened due to helping him recover, realizing that Hinata truly loves him. Afterward, Naruto and the others head to Toneri’s moon base. Meanwhile, at Toneri’s palace, Toneri asks Hinata to knit him a red scarf and marry him. But in reality, Hinata only accepts Toneri’s proposal to destroy the Tenseigan altar, since Toneri has misunderstood the Heavenly Decree.
Unfortunately, before Hinata can do so, Toneri realizes the deception, brainwashes her, and destroys the scarf she had actually made for Naruto. Naruto’s team finally arrives and begins a massive attack on Toneri’s palace. The team splits up, Naruto going to rescue Hinata at the ceremony, while the others go after Hanabi. Hinata, with the help of Naruto, manages to destroy the altar.
However, Toneri’s already prepared Tenseigan grants him the power to slice the moon in half and places Hinata in a giant bird cage. Naruto goes into nine-tails mode, and the big fight begins. Near the end, Naruto grabs the last remaining shred of the scarf and gathers his chakra into his right arm dealing a heavy blow to Toneri, enough to pin him against a wall, reverting his Tenseigan back to Hanabi’s Byakugan.
Hinata takes the opportunity to get her sister’s eyes back from him. Toneri does not give up and tries to absorb the Byakugan from the shrine from him, but the exposure to sunlight is about to destroy him, luckily Naruto saves him and in the process, they manage to stop the moon. Naruto and Hinata take Toneri to the graveyard where the other members of his clan are buried, and make him realize that what he is doing is not what his ancestor wanted.
Toneri realizes his mistake and remains isolated on the moon as he returns to orbit. Naruto tells Hinata that the scarf he already had before was from his late mother, so he confesses his love for Hinata, and the two kiss. During the end credits, cutscenes show Naruto and Hinata’s wedding, attended by their friends and family. In a post-credits scene, set around the time of the series’ epilogue, the pair play with their children, Boruto and Himawari.
