Welcome to Eden is a Spanish thriller web television series released on May 6, 2022, created by Joaquín Górriz and Guillermo López for Netflix. It is starred by a choral cast made up of Amaia Aberasturi, Amaia Salamanca, Belinda, and Albert Baró, among others. In February 2022, three months before its premiere, Netflix renewed the series for a second season. Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, from Sydney to Los Angeles, explodes in mid-air over an uncharted Pacific island. The cockpit, the front, and the tail of the aircraft fall in different places on the island, where the survivors will learn to live together and survive.
From the first days, they realize that they are not alone on this piece of land, which is the scene of strange events: intense magnetic activity, polar bears prowling in the jungle, appearances of ghosts, an unknown monster wandering in the jungle or hostile natives nicknamed The Others, who act under the influence of a certain Jacob, a mystical leader.

Soon, through a series of ordeals in which many will lose their lives, the passengers of Flight 815 will discover that the plane did not crash by chance and that they are just pawns on a chessboard on a human scale.

After their San Esteban High School collapses, three working-class students, Samuel, Nadia, and Christian, are admitted to Las Encinas International School, a prestigious, upscale high school that caters to elite youth. While Guzmán, Marina’s brother, is in a relationship with Lucrecia, he begins to take an interest in Nadia, first on Lucrecia’s orders, with the aim of belittling her, but he quickly falls in love with her. This love ends up being reciprocated, despite Nadia’s initial wish to remain an exemplary daughter in the eyes of her parents.
This union is indeed impossible since Nadia’s parents consider Guzmán not very popular and ask Nadia to leave Las Encinas the coming year. However, Guzmán manages to convince them not to sacrifice their daughter’s education, promising to get away from her.

After spending four years in prison for drunk driving, which claimed the life of a young girl, Riley Flynn returns to the family home in her island of Crockett Island. The plane crash was staged to explore the social fabric of female communities as part of the Dawn of Eve program. The girls’ adventures on the island are punctuated by flashback scenes of their lives before the crash and flashforward scenes in which two men claiming to be agents of the FBI interview the survivors after their supposed rescue.

After a dive into the wreck, they discover an old compass that John B identifies as his father’s. John B’s father, Big John, mysteriously disappeared while searching for the sunken ship Royal Merchant.
The friends quickly realize that other people are after the wreck and especially the compass. In Big John’s old records, they find more clues that lead them to the Redfield family tree. When they are pursued again by the mysterious men, John B hands over the compass to Sheriff Peterkin. The youngsters head to the Redfield family plot in search of answers.
In the family grave, the friends find an envelope that his father left for John B. It contains the coordinates of the “Royal Merchant”, on board which is said to be gold worth 400 million US dollars. With the help of an underwater drone, they find the ship under the coordinates, but not the gold.

The rather picky British police inspector Richard Poole is sent to Saint Marie, a fictional Caribbean island, to investigate the death of the local British inspector.
