Fans of the Beyblade franchise have something exciting to look forward to! FuRyu has just announced Beyblade X: EVOBATTLE, a follow-up to 2024’s Beyblade X: XONE. The game will be released on November 13 for the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

In Japan, the physical edition for the Switch will cost 7,480 yen (8,228 yen with tax). Players who purchase the physical edition will also receive a limited edition Beyblade called the “Beyblade X CX-00 Leonfang T4-60A Red Ver.” Pricing for the digital version has not been announced yet.

Although no official announcement has been made about a Western release, fans are hopeful. Last year, Beyblade X: XONE surprised everyone by launching in English on the same day as its Japanese release.

The new game, Beyblade X: EVOBATTLE, is an action-packed Beyblade game based on the fourth generation of the franchise, Beyblade X. Players will get to battle and customize their Beyblades, experiencing thrilling fights that only a game can deliver. The developers have added three new evolutions to make gameplay even more exciting.

One of the biggest changes is the new “EVOBATLE” system, which takes the popular “X (Extreme) Dash” mechanic from Beyblade X: XONE and makes it faster and more tactical. Players will need to use quick, instant command actions to secure victory in battles. The game will also feature online play, allowing players to compete with Beyblade enthusiasts from around the world.

The single-player mode, called “EVOSTORY,” introduces a new original story with characters like Tenka Shiroboshi, who joins the protagonist’s team from the Beyblade X anime. The story also features game-original characters, making it a fresh experience even for long-time fans. Players will compete with their new allies in the “Bey Battle Royale” to prove their skills.

Customization is getting an upgrade too. The game will feature the new “CX (Custom Line)” system, which lets players enhance their Beyblades even further. Players will be able to collect materials and change the colors of their Beyblades, giving them a unique look that sets them apart from their rivals.

Players who already own Beyblade X: XONE will receive special bonuses if they have save data from the previous game. These bonuses include “reward money” based on their progress, which can be used to upgrade or purchase new Beyblades. Also, those who purchased digital boosters in the previous game will be able to carry over their acquired blades to Beyblade X: EVOBATTLE.

FuRyu has made sure to offer something special to fans who choose the physical edition. Each physical copy will include an actual Beyblade, the “Beyblade X CX-00 Leonfang T4-60A Red Ver.” This limited edition Beyblade is exclusive to the physical version and will not be available separately.

The trailer for Beyblade X: EVOBATTLE showcases the high-speed action and intense battles that players can expect. The visuals look impressive, and the new customization options seem promising. Fans of the series are eager to see how these changes will enhance the gameplay.

With the game’s release just a few months away, Beyblade enthusiasts are already gearing up to customize their beys and take on new challenges. Whether you’re playing on Switch or PC, it’s time to get ready to battle when Beyblade X: EVOBATTLE launches on November 13.
