Black Adam: Producer Teases A Potential Crossover With Wonder Woman
Black Adam, an upcoming DC movie is widely expected and it’s set to be released in July 2022 after years and years of being in development hell. Dwayne Johnson is starring in a titular role, and Hiram Garcia, a common producer of Johnson’s projects is already teasing us with the potential future for Black Adam in DCEU.
Johnson and Garcia were recently promoting their newest film – Netflix’s Red Notice, where Johnson is starring alongside Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot and Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds. Johnson revealed that he would love to make Marvel/DC crossover where his Black Adam would meet Wonder Woman and Deadpool. And although that Deadpool part might be harder to achieve, it’s pretty possible that we could see Black Adam and Wonder Woman crossover eventually.
At the Red Notice world premiere event, Garcia said for Variety:
When we do something like this, we’re looking at the entire DC Universe as a whole because with our movie, not only do we introduce Black Adam, but we introduce several characters. We have great ambitions and plans for what we want to do in the DC Universe, and we’re starting to work on that now as we start to roll out that plan. We gotta see them together somehow, so we’re working on it. Wonder Woman and Black Adam sharing the screen would be pretty awesome, and I honestly feel like Wonder Woman is one of the few superheroes that can go toe-to-toe with Black Adam.
Black Adam is set to hit theaters on July 29, 2022. Wonder Woman 3 is in development. Johnson and Gadot are both starring in Red Notice, which will debut on Netflix on November 12.
