The album shares its name with the group’s ongoing world tour, which recently wrapped up with massive shows in Hong Kong. Fans can expect Deadline to reflect a more mature and experimental side of BLACKPINK, a direction teased through the striking visuals of the new poster.
To celebrate the release, BLACKPINK is partnering with the National Museum of Korea. Starting from the album’s release date and continuing into early March, the museum will be bathed in pink lights each night. Visitors will also get a chance to listen to the new songs while exploring the museum’s historical exhibits. The members even recorded multilingual audio guides to enhance the experience.
