Blake Lively recently gave fans a peek into her holiday celebrations with her family. The actress shared an Instagram Story on Sunday, showing her husband, Ryan Reynolds, 49, and their four children: James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 2.

The post highlighted a cozy and festive family day. Lively, 38, showed herself enjoying hot cookies, ice-cold milk, a game of Mahjong, and watching a new season of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Fixer Upper. “Nothing better…family, hot cookies, iced cold milk (yes, with ice, iykyk),” she wrote.

She added, “A fire, Mahjong, a sparkly Britney Spears inspired water bottle, snow outside and a new season of Fixer Upper. My heaven.”

While enjoying the holidays, Lively has also been busy with her business, Blake Brown Beauty, and legal matters connected to her 2023 film It Ends With Us.

The actress filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department alleging s**** harassment from the film’s director and co-star, Justin Baldoni. TMZ and The New York Times reported that after Lively confronted Baldoni, he hired a PR team allegedly to discredit her.

Several people publicly supported Lively, including author Colleen Hoover, her co-stars from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants—Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, and Alexis Bledel—and other actors like Gwyneth Paltrow and Amy Schumer. SAG-AFTRA and Sony Pictures also voiced support.

Journalists and other actresses, including Kate Beckinsale and Abigail Breslin, shared stories of their own experiences with inappropriate behavior on sets, citing inspiration from Lively’s actions.

Baldoni filed a $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times, claiming the reporting was misleading and inaccurate. Lively later filed a federal lawsuit against Baldoni regarding the same issues from her civil rights complaint. Baldoni then filed a $400 million counterclaim against Lively and Reynolds for defamation, extortion, and invasion of privacy.

In June, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed Baldoni’s suit, stating that Lively’s accusations of s***** harassment were legally protected. However, the judge allowed Baldoni to amend a few claims about interference with contracts. Lively’s original complaint is expected to go to trial in March 2026. In August, she also filed a motion requesting that she be awarded attorney fees and costs for what she called Baldoni’s frivolous defamation lawsuit.

Even amid the ongoing legal battle, Lively seems to be taking time to focus on her family. Her recent Instagram post shows her enjoying the holidays in a relaxed, cozy setting with Reynolds and their children.
