Focus Features has released the first trailer for Pressure, a World War II drama that focuses on the tense hours leading up to D-Day. The film is adapted from David Haig’s 2014 stage play, which debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and later ran in London’s West End. Directed by Anthony Maras and co-written with Haig, the movie examines the crucial 72 hours before the largest seaborne invasion in history.
At the center of the story is General Dwight D. Eisenhower, played by Brendan Fraser, and Royal Air Force meteorologist James Stagg, portrayed by Andrew Scott. Their decisions will determine whether the invasion in France has any chance of success.
