Britney Spears Sparks Concern After Wild Night Out — Kevin Federline ‘Worried’ as Singer Spotted Driving Erratically
Britney Spears has once again drawn public attention after a recent outing reportedly ended in troubling behavior.
According to footage released on Thursday, October 23, the pop star was seen leaving a restaurant in Thousand Oaks looking visibly upset before driving off in her black BMW. Witnesses claimed the 43-year-old appeared disoriented as people nearby tried to stop her from leaving.

Onlookers said the situation quickly became worrying once Spears got on the road. One witness alleged she almost hit a friend while backing out of the parking lot and was later seen swerving between lanes on her way home.
At one point, she was said to have been driving close behind another car and appeared to put something in her mouth while stopped at a light.
When she arrived at her gated community, Spears reportedly had difficulty entering. Sources claimed she repeatedly tried to open the gate but struggled for several minutes before finally managing to get inside.
Those close to the singer believe the incident might be connected to the release of Kevin Federline’s new memoir, You Thought You Knew, which came out on October 21. A source said the book has reopened painful memories and “triggered” old emotions for Spears, who has been having a hard time coping.
Federline, 47, has expressed growing concern about his ex-wife’s mental health. Speaking earlier this month, he said, “I’m really worried. I’m absolutely, as a father, terrified that one day I might wake up and my sons are going to have to deal with the unimaginable. I just wish that their mom would get help.” He also added that the real situation is “10x worse than anything” he wrote in his book.
In his memoir, Federline describes a strained relationship between Spears and their sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19. He claims the singer once hit their eldest and had an unhealthy attachment to their younger son. He also alleged that their children were scared of her during their younger years, saying she would sometimes watch them while they slept, holding a knife.
Spears responded strongly to those accusations on Instagram and X, calling them false and deeply painful. “The constant gaslighting from [my] ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting,” she wrote. Spears said her efforts to rebuild a relationship with her sons have been met with rejection and blamed Federline for damaging her image as a mother.
“I have always pleaded and screamed to have a life with my boys,” she shared. “Relationships with teenage boys are complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life.”
Spears also criticized her ex-husband’s memoir, calling it a collection of “white lies” meant to make money. “I will always love them,” she added, referring to her sons, “and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking. I am actually a pretty intelligent woman who has been trying to live a sacred and private life the past 5 years.”
