The world of Pokémon has been a growing phenomenon since 1996, when the first pair of video games came out in stores. Pokémon started off as a video game series and although new creatures are primarily introduced in the video games, the anime series has become as popular as the video games. As of December 2021, there are almost 900 individual Pokémon identified by the PokéDex and in this article, we are going to tell you everything you need to know about one of them – Bronzor.

Bronzong is a dual Steel- and Psychic-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation IV of the core game series. It is the final and only evolution of the Generation IV Pokémon Bronzor, from which it evolves by leveling up, starting at Level 33. Bronzong has no Mega Evolution, nor a Gigantamax Form. It is weak to Ghost-, Ground-, Steel-, Fire-, and Dark-type moves, and is super effective against Rock-, Fairy-, Ice-, Fighting-, and Poison-type Pokémon.

In this article, we are going to tell you all the information you’ll need if you want to breed a Bronzong in any of the games. You’ll find out about its type, its powers, its strengths and weaknesses, its evolutions, and its moves. We’re going to focus on both the core games, as well as other popular video games based on the Pokémon franchise.

Best moveset

Boss fantasy DP035 3

In the Pokémon GO videogame, the best moves for your Bronzong are Confusion and Psychic if you’re battling Pokémon in Gyms. Namely, this moveset gives you the highest total DPS and is, likewise, the best moveset for PVP battles. The official description for Confusion reveals the following: “The target is hit by a weak telekinetic force. This may also confuse the target”; as for Psychic, the attack is described as follows: “The target is hit with a strong telekinetic force to inflict damage. This may also lower the target’s defensive stats.”

Weaknesses and Counters

As a dual Steel- and Psychic-type Pokémon, Bronzong is super effective against Rock-, Fairy-, Ice-, Fighting-, and Poison-type Pokémon. It is weak Ghost-, Ground-, Steel-, Fire-, and Dark-type Pokémon. It is immune to Poison-type moves. It receives normal damage from Fighting-, Bug-, Water-, and Electric-type Pokémon.

Evolutions

Bronzong is the final and only evolution stage of Bronzor; both of them are Generation IV Pokémon. The evolution is relatively simple – you just need to level up your Bronzor to at least Level 33. Bronzong cannot Mega Evolve. This doesn’t have any known Regional Variants.

In Pokémon GO, Bronzong can learn Feint Attack and Confusion as Fast Attacks, and Flash Cannon, Psychic, Heavy Slam, Bulldoze, Psyshock, and Payback as Charged Attacks. Some of these attacks depend on when you caught and evolved your Bronzong, as they are event-only attacks.
