Brooks Nader (29) Spills on Cosmetic Procedure She Says She’ll Never Do Again
Brooks Nader is speaking out about a cosmetic procedure she wishes she had never done. The model and reality star, known for her show Love Thy Nader, revealed to People in a March 21 interview that she had liposuction years ago.
“I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m just going to say it. I had liposuction years ago,” Nader admitted. She went on to explain that the procedure didn’t give her the results she hoped for. “I forever regret it because I just didn’t need it. I feel like it created dimples and ripples and things.”
At 29, Brooks says her approach to beauty and wellness has changed. She emphasized the importance of health over excessive cosmetic work, adding, “We got to do less with all that and be healthy.”
Liposuction isn’t the only method she’s used to manage her body. The Dancing With the Stars alum previously used GLP-1 weight loss medication, which she credits with helping her career in modeling.
In an interview with Bustle, she explained, “The direct feedback was I needed to lose 30 pounds. I didn’t shed one tear over it. I don’t feel bad for myself. I just say, ‘The facts are they want me to lose weight. How can I achieve that?’” She added that after starting the medication, “my career took off. I’m not saying it’s OK. I’m not saying it’s right. I think everybody is different—but I lost 30 pounds, and I booked all the jobs.”
Brooks also discussed her weight loss journey on her show Love Thy Nader. Ahead of a big photoshoot with Maxim, her sisters expressed concern about her GLP-1 use. In a confessional, she admitted, “Beauty standards in this industry are so unrealistic that you have to take shortcuts sometimes. I have so many huge life-changing shoots coming up. I feel like the pressure’s on and I’m gonna do whatever it takes to look my best.”
Nader’s honesty highlights the pressures models and public figures face when it comes to body image. She hopes her experience can offer insight into the realities of cosmetic procedures and the tough standards in the industry.
Brooks’ openness is refreshing because it shows the real struggles behind the glamour. Cosmetic procedures aren’t always the magic fix people imagine, and her story sheds light on that.
