Camila Morrone had everyone laughing when she shared a wild airport story during her March 23 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The actress revealed that while at LAX, people mistook her for Anne Hathaway, a mix-up that even involved TSA agents.

“I got recognized as Anne Hathaway,” Morrone said, recalling the bizarre moment. She added, “Oh you do look like Annie, except your face is a lot wider. I was like Annie, do you know her?” Her playful retelling turned the awkward situation into a viral moment that fans have been sharing online.

Morrone joined a lively lineup on the show that included Taraji P. Henson, Cedric the Entertainer, and Flea, who served as both guest and musical performer. She also used the opportunity to talk about her upcoming Netflix horror miniseries Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, set to premiere on March 26.

The actress didn’t stop at airport stories. She opened up about her time filming Daisy Jones & The Six, joking about missing out on the cast’s music rehearsals. “I wanted to join in, if only with something as simple as an egg shaker,” she said, showing her fun side while reflecting on the experience.

In Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, Morrone stars as Rachel Harkin, a bride-to-be whose dream wedding turns into a nightmare. Set at a remote, snowy estate, the story follows Rachel and her fiancé Nicky as strange and frightening events start to unfold. Paranoia grows as family tensions and eerie coincidences make Rachel question what is real.

The series is created by Haley Z. Boston and produced with the Duffer Brothers. Morrone is joined by Adam DiMarco, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Ted Levine, forming a cast that brings suspense and tension to the show. All eight episodes of the series drop on Netflix on March 26, promising fans a mix of psychological horror and family drama.

Camila Morrone’s LAX story shows she has a great sense of humor and can turn even a confusing moment into something memorable. It’s fun to see this lighter side of her before she takes on a darker, more intense role in her new series. What do you think about Morrone’s airport mix-up and her upcoming horror series?
