Cara Delevingne Brings Girlfriend Minke for Rare Public Appearance at GLAAD Media Awards
Cara Delevingne and her partner, the musician Minke, made a rare and celebrated public appearance together this week. The couple stepped out for the GLAAD Media Awards, held on Thursday, March 5, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
While they generally prefer to keep their relationship out of the limelight, they made an exception to pose for portraits at the prestigious event, which honors media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ+ community.

The pair’s history dates back to their time as students at boarding school, though they did not begin dating until more than a decade later in 2022. Minke, whose birth name is Leah Mason, is a London-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for a unique sound that blends alternative soul with blues influences.
She first gained attention with her 2017 single Gold Angel and has since continued to release music that explores themes of queer identity and personal growth. In June 2024, the actress marked their two-year anniversary with a heartfelt message, reflecting on the profound impact their relationship has had on her life.
She wrote about finding her perfect partner in someone she already knew from her school days, noting, “Two magical years with you and so many pictures of us kissing in front of things. These past two years have been A LOT of life.
A lot of change, growth, pain, and most importantly LOVE, and I am so lucky to have found the perfect person to ride life’s ups and downs with.” She added, “I cannot imagine living life without you. I spent so long looking for my partner in crime, little did I know that it would be someone I went to school with (and had a baby gay crush on).”
Beyond her personal life, Delevingne has remained a fixture in both the fashion and film industries throughout the year. She recently supported her close friend Margot Robbie at the January world premiere of the film Wuthering Heights.
She has been actively involved in advocacy work as a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, focusing on initiatives that uplift women’s voices ahead of International Women’s Day. Looking forward, the actress is set to expand her repertoire as she gears up for her upcoming directorial project, Club Kid.
In addition to making her directorial debut, she is slated to write and star in the film alongside Diego Calva, which has generated significant interest among industry followers. This project represents another major step in her transition from a globally recognized model to a multifaceted creative professional behind the camera.
