Cara Delevingne Turns Heads in Tight Corseted Dress at ‘Wuthering Heights’ Premiere
Cara Delevingne turned heads at the world premiere of Wuthering Heights on Wednesday, January 28, as she stepped out to support her longtime close friend and former co-star, Margot Robbie.
Arriving at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the 33-year-old model and actress made a striking statement in a deep plum corseted dress featuring a plunging neckline and intricate black detailing. The appearance served as a high-fashion tribute to a friendship that has endured a decade in the relentless glare of the Hollywood spotlight.
The bond between Delevingne and Robbie dates back to 2016 when they starred together in the DC anti-hero film Suicide Squad. Playing the Enchantress and Harley Quinn respectively, the two bonded over the intense filming process and even famously gave each other matching “SKWAD” tattoos.
Their friendship has since survived years of tabloid speculation, including a viral 2022 incident where photos appeared to show Robbie crying outside a house many assumed belonged to Delevingne.
Robbie later clarified the “crying” photos in an interview, explaining that the situation was far less dramatic than the headlines suggested. I’m not at Cara’s house—I’m outside an Airbnb that I was renting for five days! And I’m not crying! I had something in my eye, Robbie revealed, adding that she was simply struggling to manage a face mask, a coffee cup, and a stray hair. The 2026 premiere reunion proves that despite the media’s best efforts to create a rift, the duo remains as inseparable as ever.
The event itself was a star-studded affair for the Emerald Fennell-directed adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel. Joining Delevingne and Robbie on the red carpet were cast members Jacob Elordi, who plays a brooding Heathcliff, as well as Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, and Alison Oliver. The guest list featured a diverse mix of Hollywood royalty and reality stars, including Ava Phillippe, Scout Willis, and members of the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Robbie, who stars as Catherine Earnshaw and also produced the film through her company LuckyChap Entertainment, has been busy on the promotional circuit alongside Elordi. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she joked about Elordi’s impressive strength on set, noting how he frequently had to pick her up or place her in trees for various scenes. I have to say, it’s really nice, Robbie laughed, highlighting the easy chemistry that Fennell reportedly leveraged for this “intoxicating” retelling of the gothic romance.
For Delevingne, the premiere comes during a period of steady work in both the fashion and film industries. She recently walked for major houses during Paris Fashion Week and has been focusing on more curated acting roles following her acclaimed turn in Only Murders in the Building.
The film is already generating significant awards buzz, particularly for its lush cinematography by Linus Sandgren and an original soundtrack featuring songs by Charli XCX. With its $80 million budget and Fennell’s signature dark, provocative style, it is expected to be a major contender at the box office. As the credits rolled in Hollywood, the consensus among the attendees was clear: Robbie has another hit on her hands, and Delevingne was right there to help her celebrate.
