Carla Gugino Joins Brad Pitt in Upcoming David Fincher Project from Quentin Tarantino Script

Carla Gugino is joining the cast of The Adventures of Cliff Booth, a new Netflix movie starring Brad Pitt and directed by David Fincher. According to sources, the film is based on a script by Quentin Tarantino and also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, and Scott Caan. Netflix and Gugino’s team haven’t said anything officially yet.

There aren’t many details about the plot, but the story will follow Cliff Booth, one of Tarantino’s most well-known characters. Pitt played Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, a role that won him an Oscar.

In this new film, Booth is said to be working as a Hollywood fixer. It’s not clear who Gugino is playing yet. Production is expected to start sometime later this year.

Carla Gugino has been busy lately. She recently acted in The Friend with Naomi Watts and Bill Murray. She’ll also show up next in the action comedy Heads of State from Amazon Studios, where she stars with Idris Elba and John Cena.

On the TV side, Gugino was recently nominated for a Critics Choice Award for her role in The Fall of the House of Usher, another Netflix project. She’s also had roles in shows like Jett and The Girls on the Bus on HBO Max, Leopard Skin on Peacock, and The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix.

Her movie credits include Gerald’s Game, Watchmen, San Andreas, Gunpowder Milkshake, American Gangster, and the Spy Kids movies. She is represented by Untitled Entertainment and Gersh.
