Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll Spotted Filming ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 in New Set Leaks

Filming for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 started on February 28, 2025. The show is being directed by Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Meera Menon, Clark Johnson, and Logan Coles, using the working title Out the Kitchen 2. Hillary Fyfe Spera is back as the cinematographer from Season 1, along with Jeffrey Waldron, who’s working on some of the new episodes.

In late March, scenes were shot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, at the set of Josie’s Bar, where Charlie Cox was seen wearing his black Daredevil suit in surfaced set leaks. In early April, actor Wilson Bethel was spotted filming in Chelsea. By mid-May, the filming was halfway done, and it’s expected to wrap up in July.

The latest set video confirms that filming is still underway. In one of the recent leaks, Charlie Cox and Deborah Ann Woll are seen relaxing on set, further confirming that Woll will return to reprise her role.

Many actors are coming back for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, and Vincent D’Onofrio is back as Kingpin. Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson return as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson (although its unclear in which capacity, considering that he died).

Wilson Bethel is also returning as Bullseye, along with Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, and Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie. Other returning cast members include Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Jon Bernthal as the Punisher.

Matthew Lillard joined the cast at the end of February 2025 in a small recurring role. He said it’s a small part for now, but he hopes the character could come back later. In March, Lili Taylor joined the show as the governor of New York, who is against Fisk.

Around the same time, set photos showed Sydney Parra, Annie Parisse, and James Armstrong are also in the cast.

In May 2025, it was confirmed that Krysten Ritter will appear as Jessica Jones. Guest stars include Susan Varon as Josie and Camila Rodriguez as Angela del Toro.
