Charlie Hunnam, 45, Serves Midnight Temptation in Navy Suede at the 2026 Actor Awards
Charlie Hunnam and Morgana McNelis made a rare and stylish appearance together at the 2026 Actor Awards, stepping out as one of the night’s most talked-about couples. The longtime partners attended the ceremony as part of this year’s awards season run, marking another public show of support as Hunnam celebrated a major nomination.
The Sons of Anarchy star was recognized for his performance in the series Monster: The Ed Gein Story. He is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series, placing him alongside several strong contenders in the category.
For the evening, Hunnam chose a sleek blue look. He wore a navy suede jacket paired with a soft blue shirt. He completed the outfit with black trousers, a cummerbund, and black shoes. A simple silver chain and slicked-back hair gave the look a clean finish.

McNelis brought a classic feel to the red carpet. She wore a cream-toned gown and carried a gold clutch. Her hair was styled in soft curls, and she kept her makeup light, with the exception of a bold pink lip that added contrast to the soft tones of her outfit.

The couple’s appearance follows other recent award season outings. McNelis supported Hunnam at the Emmys and the Golden Globes earlier this year. She has been by his side throughout his awards campaign for the Ryan Murphy-produced project.
While she enjoys supporting him in public, she has also shared some lighthearted frustration about how deeply he immersed himself in the role. Speaking to Live From E! at the Critics Choice Awards earlier this year, Hunnam admitted that his character sometimes followed him home.
“I was slipping in and out of it all the time,” he said. “And she would say, ‘Dude, you have to stop at the voice. At breakfast, it’s a little too much.’” Taking on the role was not an easy decision for him. Hunnam told E! Online that it took time for him to fully connect with the character. “It took a while to get past what he did,” he said, explaining that he needed to understand the person behind the actions.
Looking back now, he feels it was the right move. “Now, we’re standing here and I’m happy that I did.”
Their appearance at the Actor Awards shows how steady their relationship has remained over the years. The two have been together for nearly two decades and often keep their personal life away from the spotlight.
It’s refreshing to see a couple in Hollywood stay grounded while still supporting each other during big career moments. Their balance between privacy and public support feels real.
