Charlie Sheen is opening up about a wild moment from his past, and it involves actress Mira Sorvino.

The story comes straight from Sheen’s new memoir, The Book of Sheen: A Memoir, where he looks back on some of the darkest and strangest parts of his life.

In the book, Sheen remembers how in 1998 he ended up in the hospital after shooting cocaine, something that went against his probation from an earlier arrest. The near-fatal overdose landed him briefly in a psych ward at Cedars-Sinai, but he convinced doctors to let him out.

He also refused treatment at the famous Promises Malibu rehab center. Things got worse when he found out U.S. Marshals were headed to his home because there was already a warrant out for his arrest.

Sheen says that while on the run, he learned he had to show up in Malibu Courthouse the very next morning. Instead of heading straight there, he decided to stop by the home of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Saul Hudson, better known as Slash. When he arrived, he found Slash and actress Mira Sorvino hanging out.

Sheen remembers telling the two that he wanted to keep running from the law and continue partying, something that left them both stunned. Slash, he says, warned him that he needed to go to rehab and take his situation seriously. That’s when Sheen turned to Sorvino, admitting that he and the Oscar-winning actress had always shared a bit of a crush.

According to Sheen, Sorvino looked him in the eyes, grabbed him by the shoulders, and made an offer that completely threw him off guard. “I will sleep with you — if you just promise to get yourself to court this morning,” she told him.

Sheen recalls being shocked by her words. He told her he was “flattered” but agreed to go to court instead of running.

Looking back, Sheen admits that when he finally faced the judge, he wasn’t focused on the punishment at all. “In all truth, I was still beaming from Mira’s sexy offer,” he wrote. He added that the gesture meant more to him than if it had actually happened. “Her proposition left me more touched than if it had actually happened,” he explained.

Sheen’s book, The Book of Sheen, is set to be released on Tuesday, September 9, and it dives deep into many other moments from his turbulent life and career.
