Chase Infiniti Makes Her Red Carpet Debut in a Show-Stopping Nude Mermaid Dress
Chase Infiniti made a breathtaking entrance at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, marking her first appearance at the ceremony as both a double nominee and a presenter.
The 25-year-old breakout star fully embraced the evening’s “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour” theme in a custom nude mermaid gown that featured delicate, shimmering beadwork. To complete the avant-garde look, she wore a matching beaded headpiece that perfectly complemented her soft, elegant aesthetic.
Infiniti’s debut at the awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, comes on the heels of her critically acclaimed performance as Willa Ferguson in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another.
She earned two major nods for the night: one for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and another as part of the film’s ensemble cast. Despite the high-profile nature of her nominations, the actress remains remarkably grounded about her sudden ascent to fame.

In a recent interview for ELLE’s Women in Hollywood issue, Infiniti admitted that while her online presence has shifted, she still manages to fly under the radar in public. I don’t get recognized that often in public; normally, the giveaway is my hair, she shared. I can kind of hide with my hair braided or with my hair in twists.
The Indianapolis-born actress credits much of her poise during this “crazy” transition to the guidance of seasoned industry veterans. She specifically named stars like Ruth Negga, Teyana Taylor, and Regina Hall as instrumental mentors who have helped her navigate being a Black woman in Hollywood.
I’m so grateful to have three incredible mentors in my life… who are so incredibly successful in many ways—in career, in life, in love, she explained. Before her big-screen breakthrough, Infiniti honed her craft as a musical theatre major at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in 2022.
She first caught the attention of audiences and critics alike in the Apple TV+ legal thriller Presumed Innocent, where she played the daughter of Jake Gyllenhaal’s character. This early role served as a springboard, eventually leading her to the intensive six-month audition process for Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest epic.
The momentum of her career shows no signs of slowing down as she prepares for several high-stakes projects throughout the year. She recently wrapped production on Hulu’s The Testaments, the highly anticipated sequel series to The Handmaid’s Tale, in which she plays the pivotal role of Agnes.
Additionally, she is set to lead the coming-of-age drama The Julia Set, starring alongside Gillian Anderson and Christopher Briney as a young mathematical prodigy. Infiniti is also making a name for herself in the music and fashion worlds.
Despite her busy schedule, she remains committed to her theater roots, expressing a long-term goal of eventually performing on Broadway. For now, however, she is busy cementing her status as one of cinema’s most versatile and promising new leading ladies.
