Chris Pratt Hypes Up 'Jurassic World Dominion' By Comparing It With 'Avengers: Endgame'

We live in a world where Cinematic Universes and huge franchises are the most popular things that are coming out from Hollywood, and the Jurassic Park franchise is one of them.

The popular movie franchise kicked off in 1993 with Steven Spielberg’s original movie, which spawned two sequels in 1997 and 2001. After that, the franchise returned with Jurassic World, which was a sequel/soft reboot of the franchise, in 2015. The Jurassic World sequel, Fallen Kingdom, was released in 2018, and the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy and the whole Jurassic franchise will come with the upcoming blockbuster Jurassic World Dominion, which is set to be released on June 10, 2022.

Chris Pratt, who debuted as Owen Grady in Jurassic World and reprised the role in the Fallen Kingdom will return one last time in Dominion. It’s no secret that Dominion was already described as the Endgame of the Jurassic franchise, and now Pratt tried to explain more why is it like that.

“All of these characters each had their own stories, their own trilogies, coming together. And you’re like, ‘This is wild.’ You’ve seen these worlds collide. It feels the same way. You’ve got the Jurassic Park trilogy. You’ve got the Jurassic World trilogy, and it’s this big epic conclusion. Now, at the end of Avengers … They’ve continued to make these Marvel films, but that does feel like a phase that is over. It’s rolled over into a new phase, you know? And of course, Marvel continues to do great things. I feel like it seems, it makes sense that Jurassic would continue to tell great stories, but I think Iron Man’s gone. And I guess I would be Hulk. Maybe.” — Chris Pratt for

Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda, who reprise their roles from the previous Jurassic movies, and directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World Dominion will be released on June 10, 2022.
