Cinemark Brazil Unveils Glowing Doctor Doom Collectibles for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
Movie theater merchandise has become part of the moviegoing experience, and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is getting a particularly ambitious lineup. With Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU as Doctor Doom, theaters around the world are leaning into the villain’s imposing look to drum up excitement before release.
The film, known in Brazil as ‘Vingadores: Doutor Destino’, reaches Brazilian theaters on December 17, one day before its December 18 debut in the U.S. Joe and Anthony Russo direct a massive cast that includes Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, and Ian McKellen.
Cinemark Brasil has now revealed its own exclusive lineup. The chain announced 4 limited-edition ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ collectibles, available only at Cinemark in Brazil, with presales starting October 29.
The centerpiece is a popcorn bucket shaped like Doctor Doom’s head, complete with his metallic mask and green hood. It’s joined by a drink cup designed as Doom’s throne, featuring a small seated figure of the villain. Both pieces light up with built-in LEDs.
Rounding out the collection are a metal popcorn bucket decorated with Doom imagery and an exclusive Iron Studios pin. Cinemark hasn’t shared prices yet, but the limited-edition label suggests the items may sell out quickly.

Doom’s look has been a big part of the film’s marketing. Fans got a first look at a Doom-shaped popcorn bucket in late September, when an image spread across social media just as Brazilian presales for the film opened.
Collectors have also been eyeing other high-end Doom pieces. In July, Iron Studios revealed 3 statues of the villain, including a 1/10 scale figure of Doom on his throne, a smaller Minico version, and a deluxe Legacy statue with lights and swappable arms.

Cinemark’s pin collaboration with Iron Studios ties into that broader push. For fans already collecting the brand’s statues, a theater-exclusive pin adds one more piece to the set. Much of the excitement comes from Downey’s casting. Marvel announced his return as Doctor Doom at Hall H in July 2024 with the tagline “New mask, same task,” instantly making the villain one of the most talked-about parts of the MCU’s future.
The film also brings together a huge roster of heroes. Joining Evans and Hemsworth are Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright and the new Fantastic Four cast, including Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, while Patrick Stewart returns as Professor X.

With such a stacked cast, theaters are clearly expecting big crowds. Premium concessions like these have become an easy way for chains to make opening weekend feel like an event.
Because the collection is limited, fans in Brazil who want a set will need to act fast. The presale opening on October 29 gives collectors a chance to reserve the pieces well ahead of the film’s December release.
The LED-lit Doom head and throne cup look especially likely to sell out, given how popular light-up and character-shaped buckets have become among Marvel fans. Combined with the metal bucket and the Iron Studios pin, the collection is aimed squarely at completists.
