“City on Fire” is a crime drama television series based on the novel by Garth Risk Hallberg. The story revolves around the shooting of Samantha Yeung in Central Park on July 4, 2003, which leads to an investigation that uncovers a connection between a series of mysterious fires throughout the city, the downtown music scene, and an affluent uptown real estate family who are struggling to keep their many secrets hidden.
