Recently, she gained a massive surge in popularity when she went viral on TikTok. Some of her books like It Ends With Us, Verity, and Ugly Love have become fan-favorites in the #BookTok community.

Writing a reading order for Collee Hoover’s novellas and novellas is no easy task. Some books from different series she created were released within the same year, as well as other non-series titles. There are 26 authors featured in these anthologies, each of them wrote a different, unrelated story starting off with the same first sentence. The first sentences are “ONE MORE STEP would mean certain death.” and “TWO MORE DAYS until it happens.“

2. Losing Hope (2013)

In the second novel, Losing Hope, we see Skye and Holder’s story unfold from Holder’s perspective. Once again the plot is filled with themes of redemption and healing, and this sequel is just as sexy and passionate as the first one.

3. Finding Cinderella (2013)

In Finding Cinderella Holder and Skye are just minor characters. This is a novella, and it is meant to be read after Losing Hope. It focuses on a steamy high school love story of Dean and Skye’s friends, Daniel and Six.

4. All Your Perfects (2018)

All Your Perfects is a novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This can be read as a standalone story, but its conclusion is in the novella, Finding Perfect.

5. Finding Perfects (2019)

Finding Perfect is a novella that offers a heartwarming conclusion with the characters from Hopeless and All Your Perfects.

1. Maybe Someday (2014)

Maybe Someday is a controversial book that split the reading community with its themes of dissatisfaction and cheating. Also, this book is filled with betrayal, lies, love, and lust. We meet a fun protagonist, Sydney, who finds out her boyfriend had cheated on her with her best friend. He finds solace in her friend, Ridge, a talented writer who lives with his girlfriend Maya. So Sydney is faced with the chance of betrayal, just like she was

2. Maybe Not (2014)

After the first novel comes Maybe Not which is a novella. It is a 160-page novella that follows the hilarious Warren as he takes in a new roommate, Bridgette. This novella is filled with clever humor and it has the trope enemies-to-lovers, which is a fan favorite in the genre.

3. Maybe Now (2018)

Maybe Now is the sequel to Maybe Someday. And it doesn’t have anything to do with Maybe not, but Colleen says this is the correct order. In this book, we get back with Sydney and Ridge who have to navigate their new relationship.

1. Never Never: The Complete Series (2017)

This is a three-part story co-written by Colleen and Tarryn Fisher. This is a young adult novel that follows two teens, Charlie Wynwood, and Silas Nash, whose entire memories vanished one day in the middle of class. They have been best friends forever and in love with each other since they were fourteen. But now, these sudden strangers have to stick together to find out the truth about what happened to them. This is a romantic thriller with light paranormal themes and plot twists that you would have never predicted.

It Ends With Us is a very personal book. Lily falls in love with Ryle, a dark, mysterious doctor. But, soon after that, her first love Atlas shows up. This book’s theme is romance, but with very real problems and mature themes. The endnote from the author reveals that the themes for this book were drawn from her own life.

2. It Starts With Us (2022)

It Starts With Us comes out on October 18th, 2022. This time instead of Lily, we get the story from Atlas’ perspective. If after reading It Ends With Us you want to read more about the characters, this book is a must-read! Is Start With Us feels like Colleen’s reward for the loyal fans of Lily and Atlas.
