The tennis world is currently buzzing with some major off-court drama between Corentin Moutet and Danielle Collins. It all started during the Miami Open when things took a turn toward reality TV territory on the Tennis Channel. The whole situation has fans picking sides as both players have very different versions of the truth.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Danielle Collins recently appeared on a broadcast to talk about her interaction with the French player. She told the commentators that Moutet was hitting on her and even suggested he was cat-calling her before a match. She claimed that she shut him down by telling him he needed a better serve if he wanted to flirt with her.

Collins also brought up a funny moment from last year about her dating profile. She had previously joked about a no short kings zone which apparently didn’t sit well with some people.

During her TV appearance, she claimed that Moutet got upset about the comment, messaged her, and then unfollowed her on social media. She even said he recently slid back into her DMs to ask if she saw his big serves during his latest match.

I don’t think he has a chance … yet, Collins told the Tennis Channel audience. This story went viral quickly, but it did not take long for Moutet to fire back with his own side of the story. He took to X to completely deny everything she said and called the entire story a bunch of crap.

How can I unfollow you when I never followed you, Moutet wrote in a post directed at the network. He seemed really frustrated that the Tennis Channel would let someone tell stories like that on television without checking the facts first. He even turned the tables by claiming that Collins was actually the one who followed him and asked him to play mixed doubles together.

Moutet did not stop there and got pretty personal with his response. You ready to say anything so people talks about you, he posted online. He suggested that she was just doing these things for attention and told her she should learn how to love herself. He ended his rant by sarcastically tagging the Tennis Channel and calling them good sport journalists.

So far, Danielle Collins hasn’t said anything back to his latest comments. She has been busy recovering from a back injury while watching the tournament unfold. Meanwhile, Moutet seems to be channeling his frustration into his game. He actually won his match against Tomas Machac despite all the social media noise.

Next up for the Frenchman is a huge match against the world number one, Jannik Sinner. It will be interesting to see if he can keep his focus on the court with all this drama following him. Tennis fans are definitely going to be watching the DMs and the scoreboards to see what happens next. Please share your thoughts on this tennis beef in the comments.
