Black Mirror is considered to be one of the most groundbreaking series of the modern era. Weird, odd, as well as very bold and daring, Black Mirror is a complex piece of narrative that challenges the viewers in the best way possible.

This also explains why the series is so popular. In an era when shows get axed after a couple of seasons, the anthology series is gearing up for its seventh season, which is set to premiere on April 10, 2025.

In light of that, series creator Charlie Brooker talked to the media about what we can expect from the upcoming season.

Black Mirror is a series that has been known to push the boundaries of what we, as viewers, expect from a television series. Every season so far has received positive reviews, with the earlier seasons being lauded by everyone.

In light of that fact, Brooker revealed that the upcoming season might actually go back to the series’ roots in terms of style and some storyline elements.

“This year is more reflective,” he said in the interview. “While I was writing it, I was thinking about how the Beatles’ Get Back documentary used technology to bring the past back to life. It was startling, like staring through a periscope into 1969, so reliving moments from the past was definitely on my mind.”

Knowing how great the early seasons have been, this is definitely an interesting fact and we hope that the approach pays off. Once again, the season is debuting on April 10, 2025 and will consist of six episodes.
