Cristin Milioti Turns Heads at Sundance as She Steps Out in Daring Micro-Shorts
Cristin recently stepped out in a shocking outfit during her latest Sundance appearance in such a cold weather.
The contrast is immediate. The Saint Laurent Fall 2025 leather bomber jacket paired with a knit sweater feels practical until the look takes an unexpected turn, finishing with lace-accented silk lingerie shorts from the Resort 2026 collection.

The actress was in Park City for the January 22, world premiere of her new film, Buddy. The project is a horror-comedy directed by Casper Kelly, known for the viral Too Many Cooks short. Milioti plays a mother in the “real world” who becomes psychically linked to a bizarre children’s television show where a giant, Barney-like mascot begins a violent rampage.
Milioti described the film as a “lighter” project following her intense, Emmy-winning turn as Sofia Falcone in the HBO series The Penguin. To me, it felt light and moving and beautiful, even though horrors happen in it, she told reporters at the festival. The film features a mix of practical effects and puppetry, co-starring Topher Grace and Keegan-Michael Key.
Outside of the festival circuit, Milioti has been riding a massive wave of success from the 2025 awards season. She recently took home a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series for The Penguin. Earlier this year, she also reprised her fan-favorite role as Nanette Cole in the highly anticipated Black Mirror sequel, USS Callister: Into Infinity.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, the actress is set to dive back into comedy. It was recently announced that she will join Glen Powell and Madelyn Cline in an untitled country music comedy film directed by Judd Apatow. Powell, who co-wrote the script with Apatow, will play a country singer in “free-fall,” with Milioti in a leading role.
Do you think Cristin Milioti’s “lingerie in the snow” look is a bold fashion statement for the new year, or should she have stuck to a more traditional winter premiere aesthetic? Share your thoughts in the comments.
