Crunchyroll Reveals‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ Trailer, Kicking Off Epic Finale

A brand-new trailer has just been released for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle, the next big movie in the popular anime series.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment dropped the trailer, giving fans their first real look at what’s coming. This is the first of three movies that will wrap up the entire Demon Slayer story.

The movie is set to hit theaters in North America on September 12. It’ll also be shown in IMAX and other high-end formats.

This film picks up right after the “Hashira Training” arc, which aired recently. The story comes from the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge and brings everything to a boiling point. Muzan Kibutsuji, the main villain, launches a surprise attack.

Because of that, Tanjiro and the rest of the Demon Slayer Corps end up inside the demons’ hideout, called the Infinity Castle. The trailer shows scenes from this dark and intense part of the story. Fans are already getting hyped for the dramatic and emotional battles ahead.

The movie is directed by Haruo Sotozaki and animated by the studio ufotable, which has worked on the show from the start. Two new songs are also part of the film’s release. Aimer sings one called “A World Where the Sun Never Rises,” and LiSA performs the other, titled “Shine in the Cruel Night.” Both songs will be available to stream everywhere on July 18.

Demon Slayer has become one of the biggest anime franchises ever. Its first movie, Mugen Train, made over $500 million around the world. It broke all kinds of records, including becoming the top-grossing Japanese movie ever and the highest-earning R-rated animated film worldwide. In the United States, it earned nearly $50 million at the box office, which was huge for an anime film.

The series hasn’t just made money from movie tickets. It’s made billions more through manga sales, music, merchandise, and streaming. Crunchyroll has been a big part of that success and has put a lot of effort into releasing anime movies in theaters. That’s part of Sony’s bigger plan to grow its anime reach.

Right now, fans can watch the Demon Slayer series on Crunchyroll. There are also music albums and even orchestral concert recordings from the show on music platforms worldwide.

The new Infinity Castle movie is expected to be a major hit, drawing fans of the anime as well as people who don’t usually watch anime. With the story coming to an end over these next three films, it looks like Demon Slayer is going out with a bang.
